The more releases they have with Camille the more cohesive they feel, with the latest couple tracks being (in my opinion, of course) their best work in years. This song has had plenty of plays on my end as well. There is a lot of really good stuff going on instrumentally, its bouncy, and riffy... and the vocal melodies and arrangement are fun and unique. I really dig it. Great reaction as always! :)
Thank you guys! Great reaction! I kept checking for it and was like you know what, I’ve watched all of their videos anyway I’ll send some coffee and request it at the same time. 😂 that song has been getting tons of plays and I had a feeling Dallas and Andrea would dig it too! Wheels you’re the man! Cheers! -Caleb W.
This is not even remotely close to was Novelists was just a few years ago. It's not quite a good as the older stuff but it's stilly really good. You can clearly see the Spiritbox influence on Camille. Very few people are aware of where Camille has come from. Before this she was working on a solo act, doing pop music and dancing under the name Sigh Bliss. That's a big deal because it does show that she is being her natural self here, not trying to be something else. She has essentially taken her pop music, vibe, style and dance and overlaid it on one of the best progressive metal / metalcore bands on Earth. The result is authentic, quality very unique, and very catchy modern metal. In fact, if they keep this sound up on the next album, I am going to coin a new metal subgenre for Novelists. That's how unique this band has become. Progressive Metal Dance Core.

One of the better songs of 2024. They also came out with a b-side to this called 'K.O.' Really good stuff.
This song is great but K.O. is easily my favourite of the singles so far the vibes and goosebumps that song brings it!
Really loving their new direction!!!
Love all your Novelists reactions 🥰
I love that you love them!
This is like djenty pop with heavy breakdowns sooooo sick
My favorite band 🤩🤘
I hear so much Paramore in this and with the screams it's awesome.
YES!! Was waiting for this one! Please do K.O. by Novelists too!
