Billy - Love this series of videos. You really do elevate my cooking. It's great that you give people the confidence to feed their loved ones well, without breaking the budget. Keep up the good work.
Totally my favorite cooking channel 🥰😍. Tried your chicken breast reciepe and it was amazing 👏. Quality of the video is always supreme and I always learn something new from chef. Such a chill vibe of the vids
Dear Chef Parisi, I am awed by your approach to everything. You are perfectly presenting your instructions with detailed sharing and videos which is admirable, I have been learning and enjoying the sensitivity you show to the times with great results for a family. Thank you so much please be active and healthy.
Thank you for the comment, Billy, about elegance and old world dishes. My parents grew up during the Great Depression and my mother said one thing they didn't lack were some really elegant and delicious meals made with items purchased with ration coupons and basic staples. Even today, you can make elegant things like a Pavolva or panna cotta or even a dark chocolate tart for just a few dollars and all of them will wow your guests or family.
Thanks for watching! Definitely know it’s Kyiv, but the recipe as it’s searched in the states is Kiev. In fact, if you search for Kyiv, Kiev is what shows up.
I was looking for a good recipe for 'Chicken Kiev' and found your's... love the recipe and your style making this Video! You got yourself a new subscriber... 😃
I made whole live fire roasted lake salmon in Montana and served over rice pilaf. Rice pilaf is such a classic! I love those thin organic carrots you can buy (I have found them really cheap in some areas) brushed with duck fat over a bed of fresh thyme and seasoned with fresh ground pepper and salt. I cook them on parchment paper at around 375 for 20 or 25 minutes. I don't care if you think you hate carrots these carrots are top tier and you can eat the crispy thyme cooked with duck fat. /faint FYI any veg from okra to broccoli to mushrooms to ramps to fiddleheads to asparagus to green beans to radishes is going to be good on a bed of fresh thyme with duck fat. Try it, you'll like it! FFS try roasting kale with duck fat! OMG. Happy cooking everyone!
Absolutely beautiful. Super super great. I’ll definitely give this a try. I might like a little citrus flavoring on the carrots, maybe orange zest and a bit of juice. My college roommate, of Armenian descent, taught me to make rice pilaf. It must have broke vermicelli noodles. Yum. Can’t wait. Wish I could give more than 1-thumbs up. Here goes 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Loved your video chef !! I just want to ask about how chefs made this without using the plastic to flatten the chicken, & to wrap the kievs ? What did they do ?
Great video Chef Billy. I’m trying all of these, and so far… they have yet to be nothing short of great. I thank you, and my family thanks you. Keep the under $25 going, but I’m wondering if you can pull a beef dish off for under $30-50. Time will tell. Thanks again, and I look forward to the next one.
Correct and I mentioned that if it is a covert staple item then no reason to re-buy it at the store. See my other videos that I’ve done in this category as well
The cost of those staple items is nominal. No one I know who does cooking on a budget factors in items that were already purchased because they are of a different economy rather than part of the economy at hand. Even if you did factor in those items, you are looking at, maybe, a dollar more. Again, nominal considering the payoff at the end.
@@zachkucera3793 I want to know where you shop that those items are $1. I don’t keep onions and garlic in my refrigerator as they are perishable. I buy them as needed for recipes.
Delicious looking. I’m going to try it. But I’m not sure you hit the budget mark. How much was all the stuff you already had? No disrespect, but just looking for accuracy.
I enjoy your grocery shopping videos and seeing these recipes under $25. This one looks tasty. Going to try it.

A video on compound butter could be fun.

You are just the best ❤🔥💥
My husband is allergic to parsley. What can u substitute?
Billy stopped my timer
Hi Billy, the capital of Ukraine is Kyiv, not Kiev.
I’m aware, however the recipe searched for is Chicken Kiev.
Looks grear
It’s Chicken Kyiv not Kiev
There were items in this recipe that didn’t factor into the $25 - butter, garlic, onion, bread crumbs.
