There is no such thing as too many realistic mechanics. The whole selling point for me is that. I don't want to see SC turn into some Eve lite with fps mechanics. I want it to push the envelope of what games are. Showering, pooping, getting physically dressed, that's what I want. Touching the switches in my cockpit, reaching out and pressing the button on the elevator to call it up, these are the most appealing things for me
i have no issue with the drink eating bollox it does last for ages but i dont want them to push it more than we have now.. environment stuff sure.. but.. hey let me just play the fkn game it already takes me eons to even get my ship lol.. I want the game to be real life, man. Eating, drinking, showering, using the bathroom, these are all things that I want to see in game. The so called "tedium" is the stuff that brought me in.
What are you using to stay hydrated? Certain foods and drinks are better than others. Since switching to Cruz i only end up drinking a couple times over the course of like 3 hours.
Xul's 40:40 Hazard Weather System Transporting Idea would be incredibly fun and amazing with the Malstrom, Hazardous Goods, EVR(Effort Vs. Reward) & Planet Tech systems that are already being implemented. The transporting plantside vehicle, mentioned, that would be needed, (could be made by; Tumbril,Argo,Misc, Greycat etc.), would just need to be manufactured. It would be so sick driving through those crazy storms from a ground point of interest to a spaceship courier waypoint to watch those items be taken thru the skys. This sandbox game tech/ Dev community can make this happen.
1 question for paul could you see Milltary grade titan suits with magnet attched hover boards under them for quicker movement during ground combat jump jets or like landing rockets for slowing desent of titan suits drop form ships to ground ??
Beam or no beam, the mule needs steering fixed, along with tanks. Zero-turn machines don't "steer", they "rotate". It sounds like a subtle difference, but it really matters for a forklift that steering is predictable when going from forward to stopped to reverse.

XUL hit the nail on the head about those of us who only have 1 to 2 hours of game time due to real life.

Atmo should do a loading competition. Who can fully load, fly and unload a caterpillar between stations

Amen to this. Currently it inverts the steering direction and that is not intuitive nor useful.
