Yessir, but they sadly stopped making Dangerous Hunts games after Dangerous Hunts 2013 and they stopped making Cabela's games after Big Game Hunter: Pro Hunts.
@Blooky UwU I mean... to be perfectly fair, he didn't know that the character's partner was killed, just that he went missing. And "shooting a few rounds" was apparently just an excuse to see if the main character was as good as surviving in the outdoors as everyone in the place said, so that he could ask him for help in rescuing his lost niece and nephew. But yes, with no context, it does make him seem like an old senile grandpa with some very odd priorities. 🤣
After playing the first game, I was super siked to play this one. Except I thought it would be just like the first one but with new features, areas, and animals, but for me this didn't disappoint.
I haven't played the original yet. I've only played this one, 2009, 2011, and 2013, and 2009 wasn't really as fun as the other Dangerous Hunts games I played
I remember playing this back then the sound effects were top notch and genuinely immersive coming from the cabela company its obvious they were able to sample clear crisp soinds from nature but the music especially helped build horror like tension in many moments of this game i really wish it was given a remake
This is one of the few cabela hunts games tjat genuinely needs a remake of modern port it had a clear non corny setup to the story and your characters reasoning to find his hunter friend was actually a good setup the gameplay and aesthetic for the time was immersive and, fresh sure it has its age but the game knows how to use sound and its moments to create an engaging tense experience
Hey how exactly do you record this kind of footage of walkthrough of the game and have it on UA-cam? I got a GameCube with the game itself and I really like to know how it's possible to record and upload it on UA-cam.
I remember being so disappointed that this game was less of a hunting sim like the first Dangerous Hunts and more of an arcade style survival horror game when I first played it.
True, but that’s what got the best of the game consider these particular animals would attack you when provoked and gave a storyline than a simple hunt.
@@granitegobbler95 I think this game could have found a decent middle ground between the two styles, if it still had a separate Career Mode and retained similar depth for the inventory management, stealth/bait mechanics, variety of tools, and free-roam hunting. For example, the mission where you hunt down the lions could have had Hamisi drop you off in the middle of a non-linear map. From there, you could hunt each of the lions in an order of your choosing and utilize stealth throughout, with the only scripted part being when Hamisi’s wife appears at the end. Meanwhile, encounters with other dangerous animals like the hippo would be optional, depending on which routes you take, how competent you are at sneaking past creatures, whether you want to spend the extra ammo, etc.
I probably won't make many friends saying this, but I'd love for there to be a Pokemon hunting game. Not so much hunting Pikachu, but hunting Tauros and Stantler.
That knife throw at the beginning is badass
That is really the main reason why I looked this up, was to see that knife throw
The need to Remaster these games.
yes!!!!
Yes

I agree 100%
I would love to see what these characters look like with today’s technology

I remember playing this on PlayStation 2 when I was very young. I'm 19 years old now and this brings back so many memories of this game
Same here and now I'm 20
I decided to buy it on the original xbox about a year or two ago to play it on the xbox 360
7:05 LMAO I DIED. Me and my sister always used to push the NPCs down years ago when we played this!!
"Why, I wouldn't trust you to shoot the broadside of a barn!" 😆
I wouldn't do that if I were you but I like to see what happens when I shoot an npc
I did too xD
@@penitentestudios1492 it cancels the shot
I remember that! It was hilarious!! 😂
You knockin' his ass over was funny as hell. I used to do that all the time when playing this! 😂
This has been by far one of my most favorite Cabela's games since I was a kid
I like how going out and shooting a few rounds first is more important than that information he needed to pass onto us XD

What an awesome game. Seriously. So underrated and forgotten
One of my favorite openers to a game with that knife throw!!! Always had a strange fantasy fighting a wolf with nothing but my knife
You can do that on the original Dangerous Hunts game.
Great storyline. I miss playing this game.
Only true gamers remember the days of Cabela's and rapala lol
I do
PREACH!!!!!
Bruh I remember starting every mission when I was a kid seeing the picture of the next animal you’ll face like damn do I really wanna do this mission
Same here.

I used to shoot the hell out of Hugh just to hear his pissed off dialog
Same here

This is a epic game
crocodile mission was terrifying for me
I remember my uncle playing this non stop
Training Is a Great Start
I still have my GameCube version of the game

Cabelas never made hunting simulators at any point, they made hunting combat games
Pro hunts was very much like a simulator though
I Can Imagine With Dinosaurs And Animals In Cabela's Dangerous Hunts And Which Typres Of Dinosaurs In My Missions?

watch out for the other Grizzly Bears and wolves and wild boars
And cougars
Does this game have quick hunt or free hunt or just story
Besides the story mode, there is also a bonus missions mode.
Oh okay thanks
the first Dangerous Hunts game is the one you want. quick hunt, career & charter hunt, and Action Zone.

Finally found this game.
Hi👋 how it going?
I played this game all the time, I want to record my own gameplay, but I don't have the right stuff for that
The hardest and most pain in the ass mission to do is where you have to run away from shrub bulls in a forest fire.
old man reloads his gun and takes off nope *player melees him*
Grizzly Bear 🐻
watch out for bears and wolves and mountain lions and and wild boars and maybe more

Yeah, I would buy it too, to taunt my younger brother
