      Truth. Im still wondering why "made in china" junk is even allowed to be imported into the U.S. It's a never ending supply to our landfills because it's cheaply made and usually doesn't last through one good use.

    These are creative but often if you add up the cost of the supplies they actually cost more than buying a pre-made boughten version. Also, there is the cost of the tools to assemble let alone the time it takes to assemble something vs. searching online for the finished item to buy. Time is money too.

    • @AnnaH4R
      @AnnaH4R 2 роки тому +32

      Yes, time is money, but some people take on the projects because they enjoy doing it. I have a closet reserved for items I catch on sale and save them. Over time you build a collection of things for projects. I saw a lot of things in this video I can improvise with and things I already have as decor. The tools pay for themselves.

    My favorite's were the dented copper looking container, the little mini greenhouses with the glass frames and the little nine box drawer cabinet for a table or wall decoration. Good for keys and doo hickeys. Actually two of the little trays were nice. The tray with the frame with the dowels lined up as a bottom for the tray and the brass cabinet handles it also had wooden knobs in the bottom for a base, also, the pizza pie tray with the soft rope swirled on the bottom and the rope wrapped chain rim was nice too. Even though some of the stuff is junk like the plunger 🪠 sconces and the garden basket with the fancy little edging plastic thingies looked cool but you just don't need something like that cluttering up.

    Plunger one is hard to believe, but lets be honest some of the "table art" and vase things are definitely in style at your local Target and you are buying them. And one was literally made out of a jenga set, and seemed like the kind of decor piece that might be in a model home. Nobody said these DIY versions were durable furniture. I'd say not all work, but a few at glance seem pretty great as little project to spruce up a small space in your living area with that rustic Magnolia, Home&Hearth, Chip and Joanna style that all the weekend warrior DIY fiends are craving and it does it on a budget...
