@@anthonyconant6537 Recon is recon. Ya cant feed a hurricane though. It absorbes moisture from the ocean and intensifies based on temperature and bmp. The lower the pressure, the stronger the hurricane (also taking into account wind sheer and other factors). Its simply not possible to alter the direction, speed and intensity of a hurricane by any man made means. They are bad because of the rise in sea temperatures caused by global warming. Obviously there's way more to it than I just explained...but its a comment, not a book. Tho...if I took this too seriously and completely missed the joke then....well shit
The jet stream isn’t there for the United States to push it outwards. Unfortunately the news is usually wrong and it’ll likely push into the United States. I tracked IRMA from the Sahara desert and the media predicted it to push into the Atlantic way before Bermuda, yet it was detrimental regarding landfall. I hope we done experience much of landfall anywhere, but European is already pulling it more west than GSF. I would assume as days move forward, it will continue to progress western, especially at 10mph. Bermudas pressure is far to strong to allow this hurricane to travel northern-wards. I’m calling it, landfall Savannah GA to Outerbxs NC.
With all the astonishing technology we possess, surely we can do something to dismantle, interrrupt or demolish wind storms like this! Lasers? Non-nuclear tactical bombs? Sound cannons? Pepper spray???! I just think it sucks to be having this conversation as we wait for that sucker to hammer our coastline!

Personally would say Sam may have been a top 10 Atlantic tropical cyclone in terms of pressure. It was definitely in the top 15.
