I always told myself that I’d put out information that I wish existed when I was getting into cloth diapering! It turned into years worth of videos 💜 and I still have so many more videos that haven’t been posted yet. Hopefully I get around to it one day 😂
Stout house is adding newborn covers to the pre-order tomorrow night for anyone watching this in the future and newborn preflats and newborn bamboo insert to the pre-order
Her and I have been talking about newborn products for a few months now. I am so excited to hear that they have finally launched! I might keep a few for my loaner stash. Her prints are seriously the cutest
What do you usually stuff your newborn diapers with? If I have a 2 year old and newborn, how many pocket diapers and inserts should I have? I dont mind doing the laundry if I need to.
I like using newborn bamboo prefolds to stuff with. Keeping extra newborn inserts on hand helps too. For a newborn I liked having about 15 diaper changes per day… my 2 youngest went through 15 changes a day in the beginning. So it was nice to have at least that amount per day. But it also depends on when you start diapering your baby. Usually 10-12 diaper changes a day is average. If you want to wash every two days then take the diaper changes per day and x2 … 10-12 changes x2 = 20-24 diapers. For a toddler I like about 6 diaper changes per day.
I’m going to be new to cloth diapering When baby comes in July I just went and bought 30 newborn diapers and 36one size just to have on hand so 66 diapers and I want to try these hacks but if they don’t for I always have the newborns for backup
My baby came in July too. I swear she out peed thirsties newborn aio though especially the microfiber ones. She was born 9 pounds 2oz and over 10 pounds now. It feels like every diaper I get wicking issues with pee onto her onesie or swaddle or night gown or blanket. I tried putting it on tighter or more in the bikini line and making sure nothing is poking out of the plu cover. That's the only issue though. I have the aio pockets and flour sack towels and all kinds of other absorbancy. Luckily I got a lot free but the wicking issue.. how is it going for you??

Is comfortable for baby to wear? Doesn't make any redness around it or skin reaction from it?
