So romantic and the kind of Doo Wop music, that takes you back to those happy moments and memories of your one true Love. I miss my deceased wife. I will always stay true and keep you always in my heart…
Some of the singers of today could take a lesson on what music is all about from the early doo wop era.I think if the radio stations of today played doo wop they'd open the young ones of today s ears to an era of great music even if they played the accapella songs I know they d outdo the songs of today
hersel loft I’m In high school and I have done just that I opened my small 1,700 large school enjoy the old music it happened to reunite the 50s and 60s a drive I’m theater opened a couple of 50s and 60s themed diners opened up I myself and a singer/guitarist In my 50s-60s cover band the four sophomores
hersel loft, i've said the same thing to myself, and i said if i had the bucks, i would look to start a DooWop station here in NYC. But not just not DooWop. Bring back stations that play Big Bands, classic 50's and 60's vocals, and many other types of really great music that we are not exposed to. Way too much garbage out there now. That;s why i went to XM 15 years ago, at least i have a choice.
Sorry to disagree but rock and roll as it was in the fifties and early 60's is no longer and it is fading as fast as those who performed it and listened to it. The "oldies" radio request stations are playing less of them because the requests for them are fewer as time passes. The requests are more for later stuff. That is the sad truth of it. Fat's Domino, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Platters, the Del Vikings, the Drifters and even Elvis are drifting into the long ago, once upon a time and nearly forgotten except by the fewer and fewer of those who were there then. The big bands and pop singers saw the change come for them with the coming of rock and roll and when the Beatles came to America those aforementioned rock artists saw it coming for themselves too.
@@fifty9forty3 Undeniably so, but thanks to those who keep this kind of music alive in the 21st century, even if online. For the record, I was born in 1962. :)
@@fifty9forty3 I'm sorry why are you here again! sit back and enjoy some brilliant sounds, you sound like a disgruntled kaazar user. loosen up a bit we are enjoying our tunes.
Congratulations Jesse it s young people like you who will keep the music of my generation and older alive so that future generations can enjoy real music have a great day my oldies music friend
The reason the young people don't appreciate The Oldies is once the woman and men began to work they left there kids on there own and the computer world came in and open up their minds to everything the World has to offer. The problem is if one doesn't possess a good Moral Background they can't FEEL The BEAT! Till Then! While they are rapping us older people Not only feel the Love but we partake of it thru Our Music. It’s such a shame that most of the young adults today don’t enjoy what real music was like in past years. The trash talk which is being force on our children is what I call a form of brain washing. I don’t think these so-called entertainers of today could never say the same word twice in the in their filthy exhibition on stage. Also, these are the same people who desecrate and walk over our American Flag. Anyway, thank you so much for this never to die music.
Arden Brooks Most if these songs repeat the same hook, whats wrong with repeating the same word, as times change so does the music. This music era had to change so that it could stay so it could stay magical.
@@nunyabiz2055 It's unrecognizable today actually. Lyrics are the biggest limitations. The phrases are outdated and aren't great to begin with because this sub-genre was about melody and harmonics.
I was born in 1958, grew up near the beach so of course BEACH BOYS were big. But listening to music my parents liked gave me an appreciation for ALL styles of music. Tennessee Ernie Ford, Bing Crosby,❤️ Frank Sanatra, Doris Day... People said I was too young to know that music 🎶 so I was deemed "Jeri Jute box" Because my uncanny ability to name so many songs. 🙋🏽♀️
Doo-Wop Music flourished in the 1950s and 1960s as one of the greatest Musical Artforms of the last Century!.

I was born in 1973 & I agree with these comments basically due to how I was raised.
