    y'' = 3x+4y, uing galerkins method solve the boundary value problem y(0) = 0, y(1) = 1. pls provide the this qus solution.

    What will happen to trial soln if the secondary boundary condition is dy/dx = constant

      If this condition arrives then u will have to differentiate the assumed y eqn and after doing this, u will substitute the constant value in the dy/dx eqn and get the coefficient value

      @@fuzailkhan2063 nothings gets eliminated, just one eqn is given in terms of other...
      I.e if c1,c2 & c3 are obtained as constant after dy/dx=constant boundary condition....then c1 is written in terms of c2 & c3

    What if boundary conditions are y(1)=0 and y(2)=0

      When we find C1 and other coefficients ..then we have to use boundary conditions: put x=1 & y=0 in the assumed eqn ..then get the value of C0 ..after that put x=2& y=0 and then calculate other coefficients
      Use boundary condition: 1
