Was just wondering how wide is the widest part of the cabin (guessing 1.6m ish)? I love the Elgrand was thinking hopefully I could get one of these one day for camping too!
My idea was I'd just fold third row flat and put down a fitted foam mattress (sleep perpendicular to vechicle) so the rest of cabin is left for fluffy samoyed and luggage.

Yeah I just measured it and it's about 1.5 - 1.6 in the widest area near the side doors. The interior does curve in and out a bit with the internal moulding.
They're great for camping, can be a bit cold! The side tent gives extra space also to put the gear.

hey . Cool vid ,I've had my e51 for 4 years and never folded all seats like that . jealous of the whole camping trip a bit hard for me with 4 kids . let us know if u ever install the in dash dvd system .had mine for 6 months and havent been game . 😆🖒
JP81 LUVBIRDS hey there I bought a Bluetooth device that plugs into the cigarette lighter and I mount my phone to the left of the steering wheel. Incan play Spotify etc. Through the stereo. I have an FM band extender I need to install. I think I'm over the new stereo, don't really need it!

Craig Jones I haven't tried, but I believe you can unbolt them. I've thought about doing that too, then back row can fold up, and if you want to sleep in there, put mat on floor
@@LeighBurke thanks mate, I'm hoping it's possible. I'm keen on having an aisle for access and egress from the back seats without needing to push second row seats down.
Craig Jones it's definitely possible, I think I've seen other videos or posts about it online.
i know the video is old but there is a place for the livers that hold the rear seats so they wont break under the legs
I hope that's a place for "levers" and not "livers"! :o

With the back and middle rows of seats down flat in bed mode, could you advise what size the bed would be (length/width) as it’s key for me to know if I would fit or not before I buy one of these? I’m 6’3 tall.

I got out the tape measure and then went to a camping shop and bought a semi inflatable bed. Great buy. We put our bodyboards under it to keep the top half flat.
Do the middle row of seats have a top tether anchor for child car seats?
