What a performance! Very mersemerizing! I could spend all my time listening and watching him. I would not tire a bit as long as he is performing. What a co-ordingation between his vocalizing and playing the tabla. It is sheer magic! Extremely masterful and plays so effortlessly or appears that way!!!
I remain speechless after watching all three parts. Ustad Tari Khan Shaheb and Ustad Zakir Hussein Shaheb are the best living Tabla maestros. Would give anything in the world to see a 'duel' Jugalbandi between them. Shukriya to Jawaddi Taksal Shaheb for the upload. Love from Bangladesh.
there is no doubt that tari khan is not a best tabla player but he was not able to match pandit anindo's speed he could not play as fast as anindo does but it was great and I agree that he plays lite very well even better than anindo and he is my favourite tabla player
but u will surely notice a superior sur, melody and modulation in Tari's bayan whereas Anindo ji's bayan is quite highly tuned and shallow with more pushing Ghe rather than bending and modulating the skin to get swaying sounds as tari does, he's a bloody sureela tabliya
