I've got the Pro for my middle daughter, the older stil got her Gaming monster and my son has a 9T now. I got quite a few across the bench myself since almost 10 Xiaomi years 😉
@@FunkyGamerFG most likely, but I haven't been able to get one yet nor anytime soon I don't think (for reasons I won't tell) but if I do end up getting it out day and still remember this video, I'll give an update (can't promise anything yet though haha)
Brilliant video once again. You were the first UA-camr I started watching, wishing you and your family good health and looking forward to more of your videos. The pro is more favorable.
Very kool design, excellent specs...at a GREAT prices on both...I’ll definitely be interested in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro...thanks for another well informed vid!
I got a 9S from Hong Kong for £166, I'm getting 3.5 to 4 days of use without recharging. I appreciate the limitations, but for the average user it's a great pbone
A lot of new phone reviews seem to focus on the cameras or displays hardly any mention if it's 5g which to me is perhaps the most important spec. I know at this price point that probably isn't possible. How about a list of group test of budget 5g devices? Thanks for the video.
Thanks. Still on my lg g2 6 years later zero issues but a bigger screen and battery is tempting. Looking at this phone as a contender. Honestly i cant imagine i need to worry about any cpu these phones have if i still game casual on this phone no problem. Hearthstone few apfs arpg pinball. I rarely take pictures so theres that. Maybe i should focus on ui screen and battery as a priority and not worry to much about processor or speed if a 6 year old phone is still fast enough. What i Really want to know is if you can double tap the screen to turn the phone on like on the g2. I actually hate side buttons but..
@@JohnCarlyle There is no difference. Rom has just become ubiquitous when referring to the OS stored on the internal storage. This doesn't piss me off as much as people referring to the Internet as Wifi. I could break someone when they say "The wifi has gone down" when they mean internet. Another equally irritating one is when interchangeably say they run out of ram/ storage. Shits me to no end. (Calm down, you're better than this)
@@JohnCarlyle Yes really wrong naming. Isn't it meaing what they call ROM is the faster flash memory inside the processor packaging (stacked?) and not just sitting on the board or even the SD-card has to run over the slot conectors. Not speaking about buffers inside processor structure.
Really good looking phones and the specs on the pro are excellent for the 250 price range... Have you any phone in mind for the same price that can compare. Genuinely interested to know as my daughter is looking to upgrade from her Samsung a70
I've watched numerous video reviews but I'm confused as hell. I want to change my Moto G5, have £150 - £200 and am not a gamer, I'm not bothered about brand either. So if it were your money which would you purchase? Thank you.
I ordered this one and I'm excited. The only thing that would make it perfect is wireless charging. Wouldn't have to be the quickest. As long as it works
I need to buy 2 phones , only 4G where I live ,would like to know which to buy for battery life and memory as not all phones allow larger memory cards ?
Redmi note 9 pro would be the best. I'm using it. The battery backup is awesome, almost 1 day by being heavy use of it. It also supports 512 memory card slot. Great device 👍 value for money. Camera is also doing great, specially Pro feature!
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a really great phone. It has a big screen, which is awesome for watching movies and playing games. The processor is fast, so all the apps run smoothly. The camera has four lenses, so I can take great photos. The battery lasts all day, even when I'm browsing the internet a lot. Overall, it's a great phone for a good price.
I like Xiaomi and Redmi brings a lot for a lot less, but while I think the headphone jack is absolutely stellar; the only thing I can't really understand is the priority of the cameras; I don't even see the use for a "super-wide angle" I do however try and reach for those objects further away and crop-zoom is just never any good in IQ. Why not ditch the superfluous wide-angle as I find the normal lens wide enough and instead throw in a proper Tele lens to get some reach?
Good evening mate,,,, Mate do you have any second hand smartphone to sale...? I really like to buy if you have mate... Please I don't mind its galaxy or any other brand...
Hey bro where you been.. Just kidding know you have the family to prioritize.. but have been missing your videos.. and this phone I have been thinking about buying to my mother.. is it much bloatware and ads on the global versions?
I'm using the note 9s for a month, the phone is excellent but there are few issues with software which should be updated ASAP. One of them is every time you delete old numbers the phone will automatically restore them, even though the Google & MI account SYNC is switched off.
I'm having second thoughts to buy Redmi note 9 pro or wait the 5G fones coming out soon by Jan 2021. I'm not certain though if these 5G fones willl work since there are only few areas with 5G. Pls enlighten me. I appreciate your comments. Tanks much. Meri Xmas. 👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣
Redmi or Realme? I don't know which to decide. I should probably wait until the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max, if available in my country) and the Realme 7 Pro finally came out, then I'll make my decision after watching many reviews from many tech reviewers.
The Redmi Note 9 series is kinda strange. There is a model with simlar design but without a black "chin" on the LED flash with 64 MP branding. And yet the Redmi Note 9s is basically a Note 9 Pro, non Max in India. Xiaomi is going through confusing times this year...
As much as I like the phones flagship level priced well I've one big bug they just can't stop making the things to the point you buy the latest version and your lucky if it's new a month later really annoying bugs me big time I can't be the only one!!!!
How's the Bluetooth audio quality? The Bluetooth audio quality is not acceptable on my xiaomi redmi note 9 pro. It sounds grainy. The wired audio sounds slightly better. Anyone having similar problems?
An initial review sponsored by the company whose phone are reviewing tsk tsk tsk😉 Personally I love xiaomi note series and what they are doing IR blaster headphone jack large battery they're doing a good job in the budget range
Why until now having a headphone jack is still like and thing? I know it’s a braking invention back in the day but lets be real its an old technology. Wireless is the new thing now.
More and more brands are omitting the 3.5mm jack, so any new model coming with one is more of a surprise than marvel at the tech. Besides, wireless earpods still can't match wired earphones in audio quality and ease of use.

Some people saying great video when this was just posted
0:54 can someone explain why phone manufacturers use the abbreviation ROM for storage capacity?
It's red only memory which is for processor, that's whys it's called ROM
It stands for Read Only Memory which is for processor which can't be changed only could be read ...thats why its caled read only memory
@@siddhantrao2348 I know what it stands for, which is precisely why I ask. Storage on phones is not Read Only.

What's the difference honestly between the 9s and Pro? Because I have seen that the 48MP in the 9s is better than the 64 sensor in the Pro
The Pro has a faster 30W charging compared to 18W of the 9S. And NFC too.
I heard from other reviews that there is WiFi connectivity problems everytime the phone is on standby. Is it fixed now?
Hi do you know anything about the rumours of the wifi keeps dropping out on this phone?
Has the cameras got image stabilization? That is proper value if it has.
When recording video in 1080, it uses Electronic Image Stabilization which results in a very smooth video. Stabilization doesn't work in 4K.
