Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the city of Rotterdam 2018

We are proud to announce our partnership with the city of #Rotterdam, today signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a commitment to providing the Dutch city the best mobility options for the future.
The new collaboration focusses on aspects including transport accessibility, liveability, sustainability, energy transition and quality of life, the partnership will future-proof of one of the most densely populated urban stretches in the Netherlands. The BMW Group and the city of Rotterdam seek to make sustainable technologies of the future a reality now, by combining innovative elements of BMW Group services - Electric Car Sharing, Energy Solutions, Smart City Development and Innovation Ecosystem Development - into new scalable propositions. These solutions and propositions will benefit BMW Group interests around the world, and municipal interests throughout the city and region.
Taking place in Rotterdam this week we have the #BMWGroupDialogues and the #RadHub2018 events, focussing on the topics efficient solutions for urban mobility and creative responsibility. The Rad°Hub event involves over 100 influencers, coming together to create ideas and visions of the mobility. BMW Group Dialogues brings together the ideas of students, stakeholders and Rotterdam residents to evaluate the current mobility solutions and propose new ideas for the future.
