All the towns around Asheville are so sweet! I have been to the spring on Lakey Gap rd ( in Black Mountain, to collect water) but haven’t located the area you visited so I will use the store Europa on my GPS to find it. Always beautiful views of the mountains there and just the ride out rt 40 is gorgeous! Didn’t know about lake Tomahawk, small, walkable like Walden pond in Massachusetts! Gonna visit soon!! Thank-You for another brilliant idea! I want to visit Boone so if you guys could show us there, I would appreciate it! 👋🏼 😁
So glad you found this video helpful! Yes, Lake Tomahawk is one of my favorite places - such a beautiful area. Boone is an awesome place. My range is within 30 miles of Asheville and Boone is much further than that so I won't be doing an exploration / real estate video on that area but I may vlog a bit if/when we vacation there. No plans for that right now though. 🙂
Black Mountain looks beautiful. My wife and I are looking to move to Asheville or the surrounding area sometime next year, and have been researching many locations over there. Thank you for showing us Black Mountain through your eyes. 😎🤙
Black Mountain is such a charming town! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. :) I also made one on Weaverville that might interest you. I'm planning on making similar videos for surrounding towns - if there's a place in particular you'd like to learn about let me know and I'll prioritize that place.
Thank you for this video. I've been living in San Diego for the past 21 years and its time to get out of CA. Im 44 and I'll be upending my life and business and heading to better pastures. I grew up in NJ and My family now lives in Virginia. I want to be closer to them and the Asheville area seems to offer so much. Been researching Asheville for the past few months, religiously, and I'll be visiting the 2nd week in September. I'll spend 3-4 days exploring, talking to locals, getting the feel of the area. I want to be in NC by November of 2022. Thank you for your video. Psstt. My real name is Bill Rice and I currently own a photo studio in San Diego.
Hey Bill, I'm glad you stumbled across my channel! Thanks for sharing your situation. There's definitely a lot to explore here in Asheville. I'd love to meet up with you when you're in town to answer any of your questions and give you some tips on what to see while you're here. Reach out to me at any time. :)

Are the people welcoming to asian immigrants like me? I'm moving there for work soon.
I haven't witnessed anything one way or another but I wouldn't image you'd have any issues. :) Let me know if I can help in any way with your move.
@@ashevillencliving I will. I just joined your group on Facebook. I will be coming from the Philippines with my young daughter.
My daughter is Chinese American and lives happily in Black Mountain!
