restarting my whole journey, time to get back to the basics
Let’s go! Go be great 🔥💪🏾
fuck yeah, me too. i was able to do full front lever after 2 months of progression. i was very happy that i finally conquired an advanced skill then i became lazy and gained a lot of weight. Now, i'm so out of shape and can even do a stradle FL, a little depressed too. THis video is a great restart for me to get FL and for Planche in the future
same. I wish I had this video when I started one and a half years ago. But wishing won't get me anywhere, so now's the best time to get started... again.
@@hanifsulistiyo3559Same i wanted to train for handstand but now ima do this first
Same bro same
I really appreciate you making a manual for newbies. I haven't found anyone else who does this because they are too busy showing off advanced moves.
Love the work man💪🏾 You have a permanent follower
Trying to fill the gaps in for all the beginners and intermediate levels’ I’m glad you appreciate it! Thank you 💪🏾🔥

This is good stuff!
Your channel is so underrated, this is super high quality and helpful
I'm finally gonna stop procrastinating and get into calistenics, im practicing the muscle up and struggling, but ima practice every day until i get it.
Let’s go! Just make sure you’re taking a 24-48 hour rest in between those workouts. Work on your push while you rest for the pull.
@@STRIQfit thanks for the motivation, if possible could you maybe tell me how to start because im clueless
in terms of muscle up by the way
why split it up? @@STRIQfit
This was a great video thank you so much for making it
I greatly appreciate your pedagogy, and prioritizing form before anything else. I haven’t really seen anyone else doing that!
Thank you for noticing! I appreciate the kind words 🔥💪🏾
Holy fuck this video's so good in many ways, pure useful info and straightforward explanations, definitely subscribing.
Thank you for the support family! Glad to have you here 💪🏾🔥
Extremely well put together video. Thank you, brother.
Thank you for the support family! 💪🏾🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 this is golden!
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I have been doing calisthenics for almost a year now. So this was the perfect video for me to use as a checklist to see which of these I have already mastered and which I have not. Plus it gave me a good structure to plan out the remaining 6 months of this year. I am already good at most of these, but have mastered only a few. I have noted them all down in my own diary as a list and will now set a goal to master them all by December. Thanks for simplifying this stuff. Calisthenics is more vast than I had thought when I started so it's always good to have well structured information.
It’s way bigger than we all think when we get into it! Thank you for the support! Let me know how I can help further! 💪🏾🔥
I cannot help but see the sheer amount of effort that must have gone into making this!!
Wish you best of luck for the channel journey and thanks for the info👍👍
Thanks a ton! I really appreciate the support and kind words family! 🔥💪🏾
I've been wanting to give calisthenics a try, but never quite found the motivation or guidance to do so. After transitioning from 13years of bodybuilding to martial arts, I think I might finally give it a go. I absolutely love the video! Thanks a lot for creating this!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Let me know if my videos help! 💪🏾🔥
That's a tremendous work to make this video!
I’m glad you appreciate the dedication 🔥😮💨
Thank you for this video. This is pure gold 🙌✅🙏
Glad you enjoyed it! More on the way! 🔥🔥
Amazing, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! 🔥💪🏾
Incredible video!
I was DIYing this stuff since the past week and already have made some progress with the frog stand but was wondering where this goes next . But now I don't have to wonder anymore as you've laid down the blueprint so well for folks like me. Thank you so much!
Although the mobility part seems daunting after years of sitting and no stretching. The L-holds and similar stuff seem particularly daunting as i cant seem to bend at my hips enough.
But I'll work through it and now i have a solid guideline to follow. Thanks again. This is really golden!
Incredible physique too btw. Those lats are beyond spectacular!
Edit: subbed btw. Had to. This is premium stuff. 🤩
I’m glad to be a help for you. I hope my videos will take you to incredible heights. Let’s get it’! 🔥🔥🔥

Flawless technique. Giving me inspiration to add this into my calisthenics journey.
I don’t feel this is for beginners tho 😂
You got this! Even Beginner stuff can be difficult when first starting out! But you got it trust me!
best video i ever seen about calistenics

Excellent video for beginners as well as slightly more experienced improvers. If anyone I know wants to begin calisthenics, I shall now suggest this video to them!
Absolutely! Thank you for the support! 💪🏾🔥
Thanks for this! I’ve finally built up to a good amount of push ups, pull ups, pike push ups, dips, and rows. I’ve been wondering what’s next.
Great to hear! Go be great 💪🏾👌🏾

😭😭😭😂
I really enjoyed the composition of the video! I'm still trying to build some basic strength before starting to work on specific skills. Can't wait to begin, though, as I find the classic "sets and reps" thing a bit boring over time.
I noticed that some of these movements - like the "compact leg lift" - usually aren't considered "skills" but rather exercises that help towards some other goals and skills (like the L-sit, in that case). Do you have any particular distinction in mind when you speak of "skills" and "exercises"?
It’s tricky because I’d call a Handstand PU a skill but after you get so far into calisthenics you’d call it an exercise.
I think they’re generally all skills and exercises overtime. It’s a skill you have to learn and then once you get good at it..you can use it as an exercise. I’m hoping my logic makes sense as I’m describing it.
Like it’s a skill to be able to do a push-up, squat, dip, pull up. Not everyone can do one and in fact very few people have the skill of doing it. After you get your first one and you can start to perform them in succession like
20-25 pushups
3-5 perfect pull-ups
25 squats
8-12 perfect dips.
Then they can function as exercises.
I changed my home training routine from ppl to fbw. Monday with dumbbells, Wednesday with resistance bands and Friday with bodyweight.
I would have more time to train skills in non training days.
That is awesome! Let me know how I can help! 🔥💪🏾
🔥 🔥 🔥

Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for the support 🔥
Great vid you should do 2nd and 3rd year!
That's the plan! I’ll make it happen! ❤️🔥

When will the second part come year two
A little under a week ago, a friend showed me calisthenics, and i fell in love with it. I can already do a couple skills, and want to learn more. This video was like a calisthenics map for me. Thank u somuch!
That is awesome! Thank you so much for the support! I hope this helps! 💪🏾🔥
I’m surprised in myself, reaching the end of my first year doing calisthenics I can do all these things,I’m almost able to do a full straddle Planch 😮
So you agree this is a realistic one year goal for the masses 😮💨😮💨😮💨 or a year and half for the general population
@@STRIQfit well it depends,my diet has changed over the year I’ve been doing calisthenics, and alternating through different programs,I have specific goals as well .
Ahhhh I see I see. Well thank you anyways for the support! 💪🏾🔥
I have got a question, so these are the milestones that we should aim for and include in our workouts, but we should still do our basic pushups and pullups, right???
I thought you were jon jones from the thumbnail
I get it a lot 🔥😂
This is a great video for skills! I'm going to add it to my video recommendation list for beginners along with yvguo and leo wangs beginner videos
Awesome, thank you! I appreciate the support 💪🏾🔥
Meanwhile me being so out of practice with my sports and martial arts training that I can barely do 10 push ups now...
We can always build it back up trust! And you’ll be better than before
@@STRIQfit yes sir🗿💪🏻💯
I'm trying to do the skin the cat exercise. But I'm afraid of being upside down. I feel like my grip will fail while transitioning, even when I'm fresh in the workout. I don't think I have a weak grip. Any tips for me to overcome this fear?
You just have to start. Your grip failing and you having to let go is not as scary as it seems. Try it out and let go once you get your legs through the bar. You’ll pretty much land on your feet. Let me know if that helps! 🔥
I see you take the Platonic approach: just standing up and flexing your back to demonstrate the veracity of your claims
Worked on me
😮💨💪🏾 thank you for the support
interesting
💪🏾🔥
would it be okay to use dumbells as the base for things like L sits and tuck planch? Instead of putting palms straight onto the floor etc?
Yes! That’s like using PARALLETTES. They keep your wrist in place and should help alleviate any wrist pain you might be having. 🔥💪🏾
@@STRIQfit perfect, thank you, I have chronic fatigue so can usually only manage 1 set of something per day but would love to get my L sit to 30 seconds this year. Love the efficiency of your video
8:00 brother i cant even sit like that with my torso so far in the front, hurts the hell on my lowerback/ass area
Like sitting 90degrees like that is impossible
Alternatively try laying on the ground and keeping your legs tucked or straight and bring them to your chest. This will help you build core strength. For a more in depth explanation on building core strength check out this video:
ua-cam.com/video/B9RYIpcv7Qw/v-deo.htmlsi=SV08_2c7rDrvpSAh
@@STRIQfit Wait so will this help me achieve more mobility to my lowerback and get better so i can sit in 90 degrees? has it been my CORE thats been keeping me down all along?
i thought you were john jones for a second
Probably a daft question, but do you find a specific split makes it easier to learn these skills than others? And if so what one?
Not necessarily. I generally run a PUSH/PULL/LEGS split and it works for me currently. Experiment with how many days you can workout during the week and that should help you figure out which days you should do what to cover all the muscle groups. Some people don’t like going 6 days a week like I do and opt for 4.
Is the planch lean and Pseudo pushups enough for tuck planch?
Is the pike float gud for planch
Pseudo Push-ups and Planche lean are good pre-requisites for building strength for the tuck Planche.
Pike Float is good for shoulder stand and handstand push-up.
@@STRIQfit thx my G
How to get that shoulder mobility for german hang and tuck back lever, please I need any exercise to unlock shoulder mobility
I’d recommend trying my mobility routine. If the progressions in the video don’t work for you then you’ll need to do some active stretching to steadily increase your mobility:
ua-cam.com/video/XrhCzu1oufA/v-deo.htmlsi=BR5lEKtW5SrAeZ3V
@@STRIQfit thank you for the routine
Can i do before in my weightlifting session?
You can work on calisthenic movements after you’re warmed up and before your weightlifting training yes.
hey bro what camera are you using to record?
I am using my iPhone 15 pro. lol 😂
Thank you Jon Bone Jones
Lmaoooo
I learn all this skills in yoga😅 then
True a lot of these bodyweight exercises can be done in yoga. But some of these resemble gymnastic movements with a focus on not utilizing momentum. So it’s quite different!
elbow lever is wayway harder than archer pushup
You think so? Archer push-ups with a full extension were super hard and hard on my shoulders
@@STRIQfit i practiced the archer pushup for like a couple months they were def hard at first but as long as u work on ur consistency and that shoulder u can do it well at least for me but the elbow lever heck no TwT
whats your height bro?
6 feet 2 inches and 202lbs
