i love this game. this is my favorite video game of all time. it taught so much about choice and how free will are important. and that doing the right thing is not easy. and also trying to figure out what the right thing is not easy either.
This game really hit me hard when I first experienced. I grew up playing classic sidescrollers like Mario so I was used to games giving me objectives and then completing them how it was intended. When I found out this game let you make CHOICES I was dumbfounded. Even more so when you get to the ray sphere and actually get to activate it. Even on my evil playthrough I was surprised to get that option. On a side note. I personally think the endings could've been better, particularly the good one. They leave it so solemn and somber while in the evil one Cole is thrilled and happy to be alive. I just wish they gave a tad bit more hope to the good ending (even though it still canonically leads to the destruction of Empire City)
did u see how cole smiles when when he gets the powers and John is gone but if u choose to destroy it he becomes sad I mean the ray sphere u know
In my opinion Cole looks like he was meant to be a hero
Canonly speaking Heroic Route is the Official storyline, so no worries~
Agreed. He comes across that way in the cutscenes. The evil route still feels surprisingly natural, though
