Hi sis, I think some of us are becoming villagers living abroad for a long time. I am very impressed because Ghana is changing also the tape of buildings designed . Thanks from Nevada.
I can’t tell you how much your videos have been helpful to me. I’m doing a 4 bedroom in Accra with the plan similar ( equipped with a roof top terrace) to yours. Incidentally, we’ve both gotten to the same level. I started mine September ending & looking forward to your subsequent videos. More grease to our elbows. Stay blessed.
Dear GhBiz Girl! Thank you for your nice video! I have been installing tiles in Germany, United Kingdom, France and Spain, for several decades! As impressive as some of the bolder designs might appear, you will soon get used to them and later, tired of them! Changing wallpaper and paint is one thing, but changing tiles, when you had seen enough of them, is another! I like the "designs" as they appear from the interaction between the materials and the immense heat, so that every tile is similar in character, but different in their fine, naturally appearing beauty! Just a thought! Thank you for your good effort! I hope to be sent to Ghana, next year, teaching my technical tricks on a number of important subjects!
Thanks Thomas... you are right about the bold designs. Its become popular in Ghana recently and I've seen it used sparingly as a centre piece in a room. I visited a friend last year that had it in their living room... I was only there for less than a day but I found it a bit difficult to watch after a few hours. However other ones I've seen on UA-cam are quite nice on the front porch or the foyer....I will like to see what others think about it...Thanks for your contribution 🙂
My dear thank u so much,am pearl from Germany,i got moses the guy who did ur pop job number from Ur UA-cam channel,he did a great job, thanks once again. Ur tiles on ur Pouch is quiet cute n i may use the same colour,am really taken ur steps lol, have a great day
Still waiting for the ultimate video Sis: " The do's and don'ts " of house building in Ghana and a bonus: "what I will do differently if I was doing it all over again"...we are waiting ooo, some of us need it to help with our startups...many thanks and kudos on your videos!
Hi Korewaa, thank you so much bringing us on your journey. It’s been an eye opener and it has definitely encouraged me to start my own project. Now where to begin is the question. 😆
Whatching this video so far l think is better buying here in Ghana than do shippment from overseas you will save a lot of money Ghana has really change if is qaulity worth buying...great video Ghbix girl
I went window shopping for fixtures myself last week at Palace Home Decor. Very nice place. Have them check out the mosaic tiles when you are ready. Saving up for fixtures, definitely getting everything from there. Thanks for the video!
Yes I'm also thinking of doing a dark tiled feature wall in the family area/living room. But I personally prefer lighter colours on the floor. Thanks for watching
There is a great opportunity, for young people to start making beautiful tiles, but, they must learn from the mistakes of others, so that they don't waste their money!
To be honest these products are actually far expensive in Ghana than abroad, the only hassle with abroad is ofcourse shipping costs and time (which is nothing if you plan ahead anyways). The upside here is, they're in Ghana😊 And homegrown business? Majority of the big companies you'll come across in Ghana are owned by foreigners. Not much stays in our economy frankly speaking, they make the money in Ghana and buy their luxury abroad 🤷🏾♀️
Dear @@msabbey5695 , Ghana is an "up and coming" country, with much more positive future than, as an example, Germany, since most young Germans are too lazy or comfortable, to get their own hands dirty for "real" jobs! There are organizations, which help Ghanayans and people from other African countries, to learn valuable trades, here in Germany and then, teach, what they have learned, to others! The investment in equipment, to make beautiful tiles is not great and technologies from ages gone by, can be applied! I would so much like to come to Ghana and help!
@@thomasackermann jetzt aber mal auf Deutsch: wo gibt es denn solche "Projekte"? Das würde mich sehr interessieren. Danke und viele Grüße aus Göttingen, Deutschland:)
One funny thing about tiles in Ghana is u find the same tiles in almost every house so if u care to be different then buy them from your end and ship it. Almost all the tiles retailers in GH seems to source their stuffs from same area.
Thats an interesting observation 🤔...I did see the similarities in tiles from the 3 different shops that we visited. But could it be a case of people in ghana copying each other rather than choosing a tile that is different to the norm. Because it seems to me that there is enough variety to go around.
Not all tile retailers source their products from the same supplier. I had to privilege to visit a tile supplier recently with unique designs from Italy.
@@Korewaa-GhBizGirl I don’t think it’s only in Ghana, it’s in most countries. For example here in La, Us you will see the same things in people homes too, it’s more of getting inspired or influenced of what they have seen others have I guess.

I think the tiles need to label by it's name. Either by color or by numbers so any one outside Ghana that need to buy wl be able to tell exactly what is needed. By showing it to us by price alone is not completed. Unless the label is unreadable that I cannot see it .Thanks.

I would suggest she uses earth color tiles.
Hmm... earth tones are a good suggestion ...but in my opinion they have a tendency to look outdated if the right selection is not made 🙃
