Yay! You ate a lion bar! I think it's wafer surrounded by caramel wrapped in chocolate and crispy cereal pieces. I love them. If you're ever in the UK you might like a picnic bar or a toffee crisp bar too. They're kind of similar.

Biloxi native here! If you really want some good donuts check out Tatonut Donuts in Ocean Springs. The best donuts on the coast!! Honestly anything you get from them (coffee and smoothies too) are AMAZING!!!

I love watching your videos. And watching what you eat. The orange fish eggs are called Tobiko. They are super crunchy. I love sushi but due to allergies I can only have the vegetarian sushi. the fish eggs are often called tobiko/masago depending on the size! and i actually eat the fried shrimp tails as they contain a lot of the shrimpy flavor and is a nice crunchy texture! :-))

That lunch though ! Heaven! Not jelly.....not jelly at all......In my area of Portugal Octopus is our speciality - I love it . Braised in a red wine reduction........its my go to item. We love woodys. Their burgers are outstanding and huge. Biloxi and Gulfport is so nice. I live only an hour away from it.
Key katina :) thought i'd respond to some of your questions:
- the fish eggs are called masago in japanese (or smelt roe), i love it in california rolls
- the sushi roll you got with the whole fried tail, you're supposed to eat the entire tail inside the roll haha don't take it out. when we put fried seafood in sushi, whether shrimp or soft shell crab, we fry it enough so it's soft enough to chew and is edible, so you're supposed to eat the whole thing :)
- the lion bar seems to be the UK's version of our 100 gran chocolate bar. I love those

If I found a Good Mom & Pop donut shoppe that made pastries I loved, I wouldn’t buy from anywhere else. I am from Atlanta, which is the Home of the Krispy Kreme donut. We cut baby teeth sitting in the first shop on Ponce de Leon Ave. A landmark owned by Shaq now. Burned down recently and is being rebuilt. The thrill of watching donuts coming down on the conveyer belt and waving at the bakers while eating a fresh, hot one and drinking Mathis Dairy chocolate milk out of a little glass bottle with “Daisy” the cow on it is a lifetime smell/taste and happiness forever memory. Oh! I did this s an adult too…😂❤

The food looks lovely but I'm also enjoying this whole adventure of moving across the country and joining the military and getting a new place. It's cool you get a nice hotel room. I always pictured rustic barracks with people in bunk beds.

Being from New Orleans, I never had a Kolache until I moved to Houston from Shipley donuts. I've had Boudin before though. You usually find Boudin and Andouille sausage outside of the Greater New Orleans area in smaller (country) Parishes.
