Out of fear for the gem incrusted & the rumors about him Lars, his only friend left him behind, which push Ronaldo down an obsession cliff, generating a god complex along the way, which made his arrogant attitude serve as emotional walls. The teens in Beach City don't go out of their way to approach him, so neither does he. In Rocknaldo, he wanted to be a full-fledged crystal gem because he thought otherwise, they would abandon him again, and at the end of the episode, he accepts his destiny as lonely. He only has Peedee on his side, but what good or improvements does having a child to be the only person he talks to makes for Ronaldo? Many consider him just an annoying background character, but for me, it's a sad story.

Ronaldo is just a parody of my dad, making him my most hated character on the show. My dad is a conspiracy nutter, a paranoid person in general. So it was just really fucking uncomfortable to watch. I kept hoping the show writers would realize how much Ronaldo sucked and would axe him to cameos, but he just kept coming back.

lot of people would despise this opinion but I adore him. he makes me laugh (I headcanon him to be autistic because quite a few of his shortcomings mimic that of an autistic person. but whatever I love him)
