More kids are playing more and more each year. Those will be the future fans that should carry the sport. Kids don’t drive, so they need their parents to take them. Many of those parents did not play so they might not find it interesting. I hope things workout, I really enjoy watching the pro game. It has also gotten more interest in youth, high school, and college lacrosse.
I don't live in one of the areas PLL has been, so I don't know if this is happening or not; I feel there needs to be more local marketing, awareness, and community involvement to draw people out beyond the week or so leading into the event. As you see with traditional sports models, there isn't quite that local identity or connection established yet, though they are going in that direction with the location-based team names. Being in MI, I would love to check out a game, but it's too far away to justify the cost of travel. That's my brief perspective, having worked in pro sports for 15 years. Rooting for you PLL!
For me personally Games at noon in the middle of summer is just something I can’t commit to. I get that it’s mostly due to the game being on ESPN, abc ect and they don’t get to choose those slots, but the ones on plus should almost always be late afternoon/night games.
They really don't promote in-person attendance at all. Even the teams barely posted that it was their home weekend... So it's a management growth thing. I think. They care more about how many people are watching overall than how many people are watching in The stands
Paul keeps talking about the Data but we don’t have enough Data from the 52 second shot clock…LACROSSE ISNT BASKETBALL!!!!!! Maybe don’t have a running clock?!?!? And if it is a running clock lets get 15 minute qtrs instead!! POSSESION is equal in every sport!!!! Someone has to take the ball away defensively, and you have given more opportunity for aggressive defensive play with the shrunken field!!! GO BACK TO THE 52!!!!!
Paul hates face off plain as simple what needs to happen is the PLL needs to be like it was when the ML was around? It was much more fun to watch and it was better. Paul is awesome at making the game be out there for everyone can see it which ML was really bad at doing but when you watch those old games, there’s so much more exciting and fun to watch. You don’t get a penalty called. If you hit somebody in the elbow pad too hard or in the hand too hard, Paul has lacrosse professional
Please stop blacklisting native players. It’s sad you have so many diversity hires as middies and D middies when there are a good 15+ of native players who are better overall players. Haudenosaunee representation is almost non existent
It’s a pretty severe accusation you’re making. You’re saying the rabil’s are racistly discriminating against native players. Are there substantiated stories stating particular native players would like to play in the PLL? Eg Lyle choose box over the PLL. Also, who are these players who are better? I’m not saying you’re wrong, but just lost them so we can all compare and talk about it. I know the talent in the PLL is insane.
@@Wordsalreadywritten Not Rabil directly no, but coaches that tend to only choose players from certain schools or certain social groups. I know the staats brothers are two players who dominate in field, as well as Shayne Jackson, Frank brown, the bomberrys, Zach Miller, and a few other Canadians.
Don’t know to the full extent but a lot of native players play for their nations league. Lyle Thompson was best player in the world but decided to go play for the six nations. Feel like it’s a lot more of that than blatant discrimination
It’s also because they don’t allow them to play in the MSL so they had to choose that’s why so many good Canadian and Native American players are playing in that pll Paul and PLL made it specifically in the contract, but you can’t play for the MSL

With all the growth, I can’t understand why attendance is so low?? Any ideas why?
Summer lax tourneys through June

I wonder about this too but I think it'll just take time

I love Paul only reason I started playing
I wish whoever ran the clock was more consistent. Same w the audio
Big Head Bob Lacrosse cartoon on UA-cam is the best!
I like how he has a long term goal to slowly work towards!
What’s the data on wing play winning the face off vs the fogo solely winning possession and settling the ball/ scoring
I need the games on UA-cam
Hockey has about 50-70 face offs per game. Lax isn’t the only one
I bet Arthur blank would make a team in ATL. Call em up Paul

Shot clock is to short. NCAA model is better.

@@ryanssten731 I had no clue about the limitations they put on them. That feels kind of wrong, but I’m sure there’s money involved
He is destroying lacrosse
