I got my S10 hood from Regulation: www.regulation.co.uk/s10-gas-mask-hood However they have started using the FM12 mask, so make sure to tell them you want an S10.

I have red lenses but they are flat, whichi tend to be conflicted about... and I'd love to spice up the bubble lenses. Would be perfect for my full enclosure rubber =]
Sadly I'm not sure the best way to tint the stock lenses. My attempts with cutting separate pieces of tint left a lot of air bubbles. Much easier applying the tint to a completely flat lens.
II cannot get the ring back on at the end. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong either. Even without a lens at all (just the back ring, the inner ring, and the outer ring, I can't get the outer ring on.

The russian GP-5 has a metal clip that keeps everything in place. I think that if you remove the clip, you'd have a hard time placing it back. GP5's are so cheap that it's worth the try :) Else, just stick the tinting foil directly to the inside of the lenses.
That part sucks! Make sure to press both your thumbs on one corner of the ring, then slowly press them around the ring until you reach the other side. It should snap into place.

Try eBay to get black out lenses , this ruins the mask they sell outserts that go over the actual lenses there’s black, mirrored blue (to protect from light) and red
Honestly theres a even easier way to do this and it's cheaper and in my opinion I think it's way better..but instead of dishing out all that money on all of that..just find some sort of a black mesh such as a bag or somthing just go to a store and lookfor some kind of mesh like material that's see through. and you can cut it into a rectangle and cut a notch out of the bottom middle half for your nose piece and then just insert it into your mask and stuff the edges around the sealing lip around the mask..if you did it right your lenses shouldent fog up and it shouldent be even touching your face so no discomfort..and btw I was using a Avon fm12 gas mask it's literally the same thing except a newer more modern version of the s10 gas mask so see how it works for you👀💥 p.s hmu for any questions you may have if you do try this experiment with your mask..just trying to help as mush as I can👍👍👍

Nice work you could have used a band saw to cut the plexi, but if you don't have one you use what you do have.

Yeah, it's a pretty tight fit at 0.08" think. So doubling the thickness won't work.

@Andre Müller Remove the ring and try snapping it back on again. You just need to get the extra flanged rubber locked under the ring.
