    I watched the first 3,5 minutes and I have good impression now of what the K. Electr. 2 can do with it's step sequencer for drums. Thanks, man! :)

    i had a roland mc303 groovebox back in the 90s is this a modern version of that

      Yes, kind of. I bought my first groovebox around 2011. This gave me a whole New way of making music. Later on i switched back to software (reason) to get higer quality sound, but when the electribe was anounced, i was happy to see a New groovebox was launched. So i bought it. ITS like a groovebox, but then with good sound quality. Also check the notation Circuit, I can really recommend that!

    you did not show how you started the beat and got it going without the metronome.
    How the heck do you make patterns for other than dance music?

    • @MaartenHaaseTrouwfilms
      @MaartenHaaseTrouwfilms 7 років тому

      nublackmusic i used the sequencer, and knew Where to place the notes. For other genres i plat accordeon, guitar and piano, Electribe is for me the dance workstation.

      where the heck is the Bar counter to show you what bar you are on!!

    • @damiensimper
      @damiensimper 7 років тому +1

      The bar counter plays in the right corner there are 4 small buttons for each bar. This pattern is on 1 bar so it doesn't move. This is also using a step program approach and you don't have to program the Electribe like this. I rarely menu dive and play everything by ear. Set record, metronome on and play what you feel. This is my non dance use of the unit: ua-cam.com/video/8xsfAtQSJao/v-deo.html ( sorry the recording quality is not great ).

      @@TheRealNewBlackMusic Four buttons/lights on the right side, just over the pads...

    • @TheRealNewBlackMusic
      @TheRealNewBlackMusic 5 років тому

      @@NGC1433 thanks but I sent it back to Sweetwater a long time ago it really was not good for R&B music The Sounds in it we're not even good R&B sounds I think it's strictly for EDM techno dance music thanks again
