I do wish you could hear Eric's bass better on this demo though as he brought a completely other element to the band that they didn't have later. I remember seeing them open for death at showcase theater in '95 and just being like, "what just happened?!?"
@@JonBickford I saw this band quite a few times at showcase. So many good bands played there. Would always make the trip for Disgorge. They usually opened for another great band.
Dudeeeeee this is AWESOME! Saw these guys back in 95 with Broken Hope in SoCal! I have 2 copies of this cassette demo thanks to that show! Thanks for uploading this!
This might be the first "true" brutal death metal release. Devourment's demo was after this and lividity's first demo came out the following year in 96. I dont count suffocation because they were still more OSDM
I knee these guys pretty well I remember when they started as a 3piece band but as yrs past they added new members I remember they open up for sadistic intent suffocation and deicide at showcase 1995
@@ElGordoDeLasHistorietas yes with myself then venturing into the swedish melodic death realm with forming Fate Turns Grey in 1998 until 2007!!! Cheers bro from Orange county California USA 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Disgorge(ny) and Scattered Remnants are peak BDM in my opinion Repudilation,Deeds and Devourment for me mark the beginning of the 2nd wave of BDM but are equally nice
Brajan trummis i CURSE 1988. Det här är riktigt bra grejer. Lyssna även på: CURSE -Regain Of Regret. CURSE- FORBIDDEN PROPHECY. CURSE-MORBID DEATH. WE ARE TRUE METAL HEADS.
72ndHUMAN oh hell yeah i was there !!! My band Summoned was gonna open but Ezzat gave us the suffocation in stead!!! Killer times !!!! alive in 95 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 cheers nick ex vocals
I was there as well. But left after Discorge played because 6fr. Under sucked. Sorry, after seeing Cannibal there, it wasn't the same. 6ft. Under was garbage compared to Cannibal. Didn't want to watch Barnes any further.
Early Disgorge might be some of the best brutal death ever recorded. Heavy, intense, and downright *evil*-sounding.

I have this sucka' on CD (as "Cranial Impalement"). Matti Way's gurgle opening the title track always sends me chills!
After more than 20 years of listening brutal death metal - i am still amazed, Disgorge was not from this planet at all !
