I’m sitting here watching the first place and I’m like oh that’s right up my alley. I lived in LA for 17 years and love Armenian food. Then you get to the second place and I do love samosas! And that banh mi looks great! I’m jealous of this food day you had.
Some food reviewers try something then describe it as good, tasty, phenomenal or not good. I like how you describe the taste in detail, explaining the various ingredients. Keep it up!
I would highly recommend Salaama Hut and Kish's Roti & Doubles. Pretty good, pretty cheap, and some absolute bangers on the menu. They are also open late which is a negative for some but great for me when I get off work :P
I pass by Bahn Mi Metro all the time, but I barely get a chance to even pull in. I gotta change that. But for bahn mi, I go with the classic Nguyen Huong. You find them all over the big Chinese supermarkets, but I will only go to their storefront on Steeles and Middlefield, fresh from the source. I think they still only charge $5 or less, they use to be much cheaper when I regulared them in downtown Chinatown. That Armenian spot though has me intrigued. My cousin just married an Armenian, so i'm looking for some of their food spots in the city to familiarize myself with their pallet.

@@HeadlessChickenTO that spot at Steeles and Middlefield is a classic! I hope you get tor try Metro and Mamajoun soon!
Banh (not Bahn) mi is the correct Vietnamese spelling
Nguyen Huong is terrible.... Pricey and poor value.... Almost everywhere is better
I use to rock this place heavy in 2020-2021. I like the OG cold cuts
@@jcmproductions33 i still do from time to time as well
Love the shots of you in the car! Great values too. Love some samosas!
thought you might like the shots in the car, haha! Samosas do hit that spot!
Sultan of samosas has been smart for like 20years! Before Covid, they still had Toronto Sun award from 2003 posted on the window 😅
@@pujaballer yeah they are so good. Have you tried the other two spots? Got an recommendations for a future video?
