Everyday I listen to a ceremony from td jakes. You give me alot of inspiration to face my work place .im the only black nurse in my unit n I have to be on my game twice as any other person. So I often pray n watch a video of td jakes n cry out to god along with fasting. Guess wat my manager hates me. She's tried to convince my mentore n nurse watching me to pressure me but not one give me bad remarks becuz I can handle myself . God just takes over wen I go to wrk I swear. Ps im a nurse. During very depressing times and dealing with the loss of my mother and sister, I was asleep one night and in this dream (which was very real) I started speaking in tongues. Jesus appeared and he answered me. He said, "in due season, all in due time." The voice was so loud and deep that it made my eardrums quiver and I awakened. I thought that maybe my dad was playing a trick on me, but he had already left for work. No one was playing a trick on me. The language was a language I don't use at all. I never go around telling anyone, In due season. At the time I didn't know if this was a biblical statement until I read the bible later and opened the book to "Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." I knew then that, this message was for me, especially since I was having thoughts that all the good things I did meant nothing; and I felt that I wasn't worth it anymore. God took the time to talk to me, and he made me feel special. several years later I went through another depression and I started feeling worthless again and also suicidal. God spoke to me again, but this time he spoke to me in my spirit by telling me to quit being hard on myself and he reminded me of the time he spoke to me in a dream. He told me to write about it and share it with the world. That is when I wrote my book, "In Due Season: We will hear God's voice." If you want to be uplifted during these terrible days. 1 king 19 several times as I started getting overwhelmed with the spiritual warfare I am going through. Like Elijah I've seen the favor of the Lord in my life , I've seen miracles , I even had angels ministering to me .The enemy was after me and I ended up in the desert.
I was in a different place and guess what, I got a different enemy. So I had to go through an other warfare. I got tired but as the holiday season started the Lord in his infinite mercy sent my enemy away for exact ly 40 days and is bringing me food and allows me to rest. Now, my fear is that I know that when the 40 days are over,
he is coming back. I guess I will have like Elijah to go and hide in a cave. My prayer is that the Lord will give me directions for the next step I have to take.
This was a piece of my testimony. I pray It will help somebody. Thank you. God bless you all.

I’ve struggled with balance for years but I listen to you everyday and it feeds me . I love the message you bring to my home , my car, when I’m getting ready when I’m going to bed . You also remind me I cannot just watch you but I have to meditate on the word and get alone with God . I love that ! You and your wife have touched my life in such a way that i will reciprocate! Love your church that I watch online from Florida but have felt lead by the Lord to move to Texas next year ( that In itself had to be God because I had hard feelings toward Texas ...long story ) But I cannot wait to be at the Potters House in person soon. If I sharedt testmony I would have to have you sign some papers ( in your own words ) but God called me out this year . Being the daughter of a preacher, and having the word planted deep at a young age and filled with the holy spirit GOD CALLED ME OUT AND I KNEW HIS VOICE ! I am starting your book Destiny that my mother who no longer goes to church gave me. See the enemy tried to destroy our family thru infidelity , the falling of my father's ministry and the church pushing my mother and sister and I out after my father walked away . BUT GOD ....i could stop right there BUT GOD.
I would love to meet you and your family when I move to Texas but if I never Got the chance , KNOW THIS .....WHEN God shut it all down this year , Gods word shot thru your preaching that I streamed everynight thru tears wanting to die and IT CARRIED ME . It resonated deep and when I had no one I felt I had the support and love of your church , you as a bishop ( pastor in my world or Shepard) and I chose to get up and refused to die there .
God usesd you to keep this little girl from ending her life , her calling , her future .

Ooooooohhhh I’ve been listening to anything and all things Jakes for the most part and I’m running around my house singing , dancing 🕺 I swear my neighbors saw me crazy, then get some healing and Now I’m dancing in my house by myself singing at the top of my lungs . Wow... This is so timely. I have been feeling so tired and irritated about everything around me. I have been feeling so inefficient and all along I have been feeling mad at myself. Am glad this has really spoken to me.

BISHOP. Once again God has used you to pierce my very soul and speak directly to my spirit. There have been at least 4 encounters this week (yours is the 5th), where someone close to me (my vocational assistant, a colleague, my mother, and most important the Lord Jesus tonight, has admonished me to slow down, not do so much, take care of me, and/or enjoy doing things other than shepherd. I am a Navy Chaplain and it took 9 years of serious struggle to get here. I LOVE what I do. I also am caregiver for my 75 yo mother. I am single with no children. I truly do not feel over burdened. But I was moved so much (and it’s the reply I’m watching on Friday morning) and feel the Lord’s gentle yet firm persistence so strong after listening to this that I will really make some changes. What you said about engaging in activities that FEED me was so poignant! Right now I am either on the base serving my Marines or home taking care of the home. I just don’t think about doing things like taking my camera to a favorite park spot, or driving to the beach, or reading a fiction book! lol

My 23yr old son Elijah Jordan just recently got diagnosed with end stage kidney disease and his kidneys stopped working last week. Taking care of him , his house his bills with not enough. Also have another Son with schizophrenia.
