If not for our interactions and influence she would remain cold as ice when it comes to her "creations", thanks to the "family vibes" of our MC we can see small changes in her, even Herta was kinda surprised.
I suspect that those two creations of hers followed her outside the station, I recall seeing them in her trailer outside with fireworks which could mean she’s making a small development in her character. That and when the two were following her, her hand was gesturing to follow her when she was leaving.
She loves them, even if she herself may not know it yet In text messages she actually asks the trailblazer how the cake cats are doing and thanks the trailblazer for taking care of them. It's really adorable
