- 'When forty winters shall besiege thy brow'
Actor Andrew French performs Shakespeare's Sonnet 2. This sonnet suggests that when you become old, you should be able to show that you have a successor to your beauty - but only if you beget a child. It's more usually an argument made by a man to a woman, as part of his seduction.

Where would the world be without Shakespeare especially in these times of desperation and humanization. Thank you everybody for everything you do
Andrew, congratulations! You did a great job. Do you mind if I share the work I have done with the sonnet 2. It is a short video 2 minutes and 45 seconds. And I explain why; it is in English, then I translated to modern English, and then I translated it to Portuguese. I would great if you could watch it and let me know what you think. Thank you, Alex.
brilliant rendering
awesome
Words from another time and so words for this time too it seems to me but not specifically this sonnet rather all of them. Some ask what is to be human ? Some how as if like a different sermon on the mount the sonnets unfolded with no particular philosophy or religion what it is in precise detail to love and so unfolds and celebrates the nature of love.
Thank you.
Amazing
