This was the last album my Dad ever bought for us. I asked him to get a copy of best songs of the year for my Mum for mothers day, he got this and told me 'they didnt have the stock' of the one i wanted. This is the first song he showed us, i'll never forget that night. We sat there listening to the album for hours, we had no idea what the words meant at the stage, my parents hadnt translated it, they were just enjoying the music. I found out the translation and inherent meaning the day he died, by complete accident. This song is both the single most beautiful and most painful thing i have heard every time i hear it. Words cannot express what this song means to me, it is the single most important piece of music i have ever heard and means more than anything will. I am sure than a million people have a similar story, or have been affected by this in some way as beautifully as it has been a part of my life; but i wanted to share my story too. One day, i will find a way for us to see you sing this live, but until then, know that it will forever be the most important song of my life.
