Hello, i'm 2 years late, but i hope someone will give me an answer. I'm new on Avid, and I've been working on a feature movie for the past months, however, I still don't fully understand how all of this works. We're going to do an export soon, and send the project to a color grader, then sound ... There was another editor before me who had already started the movie, and then i took his place and had to add new files (.mov). i wasn't sure what to do, made many research, I was still lost, so i imported in 2 ways, AMA, and simple import. I then transcoded the AMA files. Will there be a problem for the export if I have AMA files and imported files in my project? + do we have to also transcode the imported files (i already did it, but I wonder if it's a problem? what about sound? Thank you PS: working on low resolution. I'm worried I won't export the right way (in original/good quality)
