Man Hannibal is just so funny, i love him. Love this event every year and can't help but say "Hey that's Darren"
I love watching these! Always brings me back to charity tournaments and stuff where we can all just have fun. Also, it's always a pleasure to watch GG bowl. She has such beautiful form and roll. I actually told the daughter of a friend of mine to watch her cuz she has such good form.
T.O. is actually a good bowler. I feel like he's probably competitive in everything he does. ❤

I guess the guy controlling the clock at the strike derby is still working the clock in this event as well, he could have easily got 3 more. would have been nice to see "The Bus" again in this event or Mookie coming back as a pro this time.
Mookie would've most likely came back, but he is currently playing in the NLCS

Next year we should have TO and Mookie form a team. TO is too good to be just a celebrity, and Mookie is almost good enough to hang with the pros, so maybe this duo would be pretty even with the others.

They should use 4 lanes when they have 2 people bowling on a time limit at the same time. It's kind of pointless to have a time limit when they have to just stand there waiting on the pins to reset.

As a bowling fan, how can you support a show where they are basically making fools out of the PBA and their athletes? The top bowler doesn’t earn but a fraction of these other “athletes” starting salaries. This show is an abomination.

the Chris Paul Celebrity Invitational is an awesome event on the Pba Tour
It's the only PBA event I watch and look forward to every year 😉 Sadly I am a bit late this time. The rest of the tour I watch sporadically 😅
My hats off to Andrew, my hometown homey. Holly is a tiny little rural town with thee smallest bowling alley, lol. I mean how many different balls did he throw to get them 11 strikes. Lol. Well done.

It’s a bit unfair when the machines are super slow to reset and the counter keeps going down compared ti the strike derby where they paused it.

You'd think they would have technology to simply set up for a single cycle and reset after every first shot instead. Even A2's can be set for no tap.. that would have saved some time. These pinsetters are garbage. Yep, bowlers have a tendency to take things like this seriously. Fun or not.

Why does the stupid feed keep blipping at critical moments in Charles Paul's shots? In the Double Strikes derby, at 20:09, the feed blipped right at the last 2 seconds of their turn and completely skipped seeing if they got the final strike to tie it (obviously they didn't). In the Celebrity Super Clash, at 36:17, the feed blipped right when it looked like one of his pins might fall over and knock over a few more and we completely missed out on seeing what happened.

...what does that even mean? How? Because there's not a big crowd? Also, really gonna say something is "dead" when so many have died from COVID? That's why the crowds are relatively small compared to normal, because of precautions. It's kinda scary that nobody is wearing a mask, or that other sports like basketball and wrestling have full crowds back.

I saw what was going on and added 1 hour to my recording. Then had to trim 30 minutes that the NFL stole from bowling and trim 30 of Simpsons at the end.

Yeah they needed to add more pins to the machines so that the setters always had a full rack to drop in to set on the deck during the strike derby and the fundraiser... way to much down time.
I don’t know how many pins are suppose to be in Brunswick GSX pinsetters but I know AMF pinsetters are suppose to have 21. GSX might only have 20.
But keep in mind most bowleros are meant to be geared towards open bowlers versus league bowlers and also this is one of the few bowlero owned centers in the country that has GSX pinsetters. Most have either AMF pinsetters or Brunswick A-2

Sure, anyone can do it for a game or two. But he’s nowhere NEAR the professional level. I’m better than TO by light years, and wouldn’t even consider going pro. Pros do nothing but bowl, you have dedicate all your waking hours to it if you want to be serious about it. And even then, these guys on tour are just ridiculous.
@@beaulaplume do you think I don't know that? I'm saying he has the game to be a pro if he wanted to. With little practice he has 20mph 450rev. That's what it takes to be a top pro.

I get irritated when I see so many younger players at my local bowling center
bowling in street shoes and thinking there is nothing wrong with it.
If they are dedicated shoes worn just at the alley then it's not an issue. Now if they walk in and go straight to the lanes, then it's messed up.
They also have bowling shoes that look like street shoes
