You got it on the nose! The lyrics seem much more personal and like they are talking directly to us. Another reactor said it was like a love letter to EXO-L's and I just LOVE that analogy. They didn't care about breaking records with this one, they just wanted to give EXO-L's a gift to tide us over while they are gone. So we got this wonderful, happy, upbeat, but meaningful song to enjoy the summer with. I couldn't be happier with it. EXO has done dark, intense, insane music videos/songs enough, I was ready for something fun!

Knowing exo's past songs like obssession, love shot and tempo before dont fight the feeling.. those songs are dark and have a roller coster ride feeling really dif from this song which has a 'feel good' feeling song. Since there will be also a long hiatus again from them because most members are in the military and the maknae line will enlist soon too. For the song.. i really enjoy the bsides than this one but this is good enough too since lay is in the song:) I hope sm will give them another banger when they will all finish the military enlistment.

EXO is my very first and only favorite band in the entire K-POP industry and baby Kyungsoo "D.O." is my very first and only bias in the entire K-POP industry. Or rather, it was love at first sight, of course all the members are unrealistically talented beauties, but it was baby D.O. who attracted my attention as soon as I saw him for the first time.
As many EXOLs know there is currently five active members since Suho, Baekhyun, Chen and Chanyeol are in the military so we sadly won’t get to see them for awhile but OMG they brought back the sexy cute hip hip summer vibe with positive message. I watched the MV on Vlive app and im in tears I have no words because im so happy to see LAY back for another EXO comeback since "DONT MESS WITH MY TEMPO", even though he had to be edit or hologram within the MV; this will show everyone that LAY is still part EXO. They came with killer fun choreography, vocals, fashion and reminds me of their “POWER” MV era before or after they landed to earth. *It would be so awesome if they did a vlive showcase and having LAY on video call since he cant be there in person and I know he will help promote it in China* ❤️ They of course killed it like always but right now I am missing Suho and Chen voices. *Regarding Baekhyun because of his health issues, he is not able to fully enlist into the military as an active soldier* #DontStoptheFeeling #EXOis9 #LAYisBack #StopAsianHate *I really hope they do a chinese version, now that Xiumin and LAY are back; they are part of EXO-M trio along with Chen but I guess it’s been years since they went by that after EXO-K and EXO-M emerged back in 2014 and continued to just go by EXO. The last chinese version MV they did was of LOVE SHOT and all the members that were present during DONT MESS WITH MY TEMPO comeback.*
