I do not own any of the content/music within the video, all credit goes to Hayato Asano, Kazuki Yanagawa, Gust, and Koei Tecmo Co., Ltd.
sometimes you gotta fight to save the world.....and other times...you gotta fight for the music.
In Xenoblade it's both lol
Hayato Asano is legit a modern day genius. Every single track he participated in is an absolute banger no exceptions
facts
I was so happy hearing this again in resleriana
I see the accoustic guitar as Ryza in this, the flute is Klaudia, piano is Tao and Lent is the drums. You hear the Guitar start up and play its piece. The flute follows up, mirroring the melody, representing Klaudia finding herself in sync with Ryza's adventerous nature. Then Tao comes in with the gentle piano to keep things even. Lent carries it all with the strong percussion.
But who's the bagpipe?
@@Bargadiel probably Empel
@@lisbethsoma2441 Lila: ......so....is anyone gonna tell me what instrument I.....well screw you too! :(
This is legit incredible, Hayato Asano is so freaking talented.
Music in the Atelier series is amazing, especially Sophie onwards!
@@kiriseraph9674 I would say that I miss the most bombastic PS2 Atelier music style from Daisuke Achiwa and Ken Nagawa, but I still like a lot Ryza soundtrack style. 😁
Dang that flute is so good.
Klaudia: thank you.
The part with the flute. Klaudia don't stop
Always love the part where the flute starts playing.
I always imagine Klaudia playing that part
Probably one of the best battle themes in the atelier series
So much energy! I just ordered the game and will be playing i wish they had a version with the soundtrack
I agree with you! I started playing the game today and it’s very good so far, I hope you enjoy it too
i just wish we can have louder in game volume, i already reduce everything to bare minimum and maxed the bgm but its still hard to hear it.
also, the battle is using real time turn based making it harder to focus on the music.
i love the music in this video, but i cant enjoy it in the game to the fullest.
@@manikaditha6308 yea for battles I set it to this song pretty much and left boss themes alone. The rest of the game I play other songs.
Whoever did the sound design on the bgm pack really blew it.
Sad I can't have this song on Atelier Ayesha
This song is possibly the most beautiful battle theme I've ever heard. This really just captivated the emotions of the ending section of the game. I mean don't get me wrong, the whole game was beautifully composed but this just REALLY sticks with you once it starts becoming the main battle theme. I literally just finished this earlier this month and can't wait to begin streaming someday just to experience the wonderful game again. Hopefully 2 sounds just as great. Just picked it up
I love this song. It sounds way too comfy for a battle theme lol
The entire game is pretty comfy for an rpg. Compared to most recent games. I love it.
True DOOD
Great OST as always... Good job for A series
Atelier ryza 2. Anyone else hype?
of course la lets goo dudeeee
I'm ready to she them all grown up
Me three
goddamnit gust
Love this song so much thank you for extending it
Love it, thanks for showing it to us!
i literally listened to this single ost while reading the entirety of "god of highschool". it just fits so perfectly
One of the best songs of the game! :D
Still my favourite battle track
Comfy
Olay I am in live with this , other battle themes give you the edge an intense sense of dread. But. Not ryza it gives you comfort and support basically lifting your spirits up as you push forward
Great theme. I can't hear the discord call sound at all though, lol.
oof, yeah it's really low in the background but I'm PRETTY SURE it's part of the song.....I hope
Now imagine ryza enter in smash, and this must be the music theme of her stage
Also... Ryza for smash
i see what you did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@@eternalphoenixlp9482 Excuse me, what do you mean?
@@Azael1332Xrd Ryza for *smash* :^)
Hahahah last thing I want is a buncha pedophiles gettin into Atelier
面白かったな。新作待ち
People said Gust was a music company that had moonlighting games, they ain't wrong.
Doesn't the switch to this song happen right after you learn about the philuscha? I thought it was masterfully done. You go through 75% of the game with this lighthearted, drama-less story (which is great in its' own right) but then the game throws a curveball at you. There actually IS a threat to the world and you get to stop it. The opening of this song really illustrates this renewed sense of purpose. That's the vibe I got.
TOOT TOOT
anyone else here after hearing the rearanged version of this theme in the Ryza 2 trailer?
yes the battle theme sounds oddly similiar but i love both so im all in for it!
This song is haunting...
Oh wow part of this is from Atelier Shallie's Softball but sped up
it kinda sounds a lot like miruca's theme from shallie as well
My thoughts exactly
Love this game's motif!
Is this the boss theme?
I don’t think so (I haven’t played the game yet)
I believe this is just a second battle theme maybe for fighting different enemies, but I also uploaded the boss theme if you want to check that out!
This is a 2nd battle song after you progress through the story until certain part. Gust do this for almost of their entire games.
This ost comes when empel joins your team sorry for spoiler
oh
okay, maybe the ost of this spin-off should be interesting...
*_5 minutes later..._*
_oh no, im' dancing_ (Gust team did it again)
It's a main game, not a spin-off
@@Minako_Meleph which sub-saga belongs to? No one (and probably doesn't have a sequel). which elements share with the least the last 3 sub-sagas (mysterious, dusk, Arland), besides the obvious ones? Almost nothing. And besides, months before Atelier Ryza, Atelier Lulua (or Arland 4) was released, a clear intention by Gust/Koei Tecmo, to bring different things to the saga, unmarked from the usual, starting off with the main character herself. 😏
@@DeiKuromu i hope they continue with the trilogy thing with ryza being the start of a new one.
@@OIdmountain I hope too, but knowing Koei Tecmo that's a no no for now.
@@DeiKuromu well... ;)
I don’t like this theme as much as the first, but it’s still good! I wish I could change it back LOL
Kyle you can! I felt the same and changed it back
ISOMURA BROTHERS Official oh how?
Kyle There is a free dlc that allows you to change any music played during the game to a track from past Atlier games including this one. At least its on the japanese version... maybe its not on the english one?? Its worth a check on the psn store
ISOMURA BROTHERS Official i don’t think they’ve released it yet! i HATE when they do that 😂
@@kyledavid3882 It has been officially released, though you can't get any of the Lulua songs in the game.
Still can't beat Spring WInd Skylark but thar's a great battle music too!
To be honest, I don't really like the soundtrack as much as some of the battle themes from the other series (especially the 0:30-0:48 part), but I also find it and its title to be perfect in describing Ryza's character as a whole.
Yeah, I always thought the intro didn't really match being a standard battle theme and got kinda grating after a while, but totally agree with the latter part of your comment
Urgency? Threat? Not in Atelier Ryza's OST here lol
It's a great song. But, This doesn't top Sunflower Atelier Lydie.
or Sweep (Atelier Shallie)
or My Name is Legion (Atelier Escha & Logy)
or Luna (Atelier Meruru)
or Verethraghna (Mana Khemia 2)
or Ultimate Rondo (Atelier Rorona)
or Cloud Buster (Atelier Annie)
or Shining Sword (Atelier Iris 2)
or Royal Blue (Atelier Judie)
or Red Zone... the Mother-Freaking Red Zone! (Atelier Totori)
But it doesn't matter, like i say in another comment, is enjoyable at it's own.
Tbh, i feel like this theme is wasted as being a standard battle theme. This feels, to me, more like the 2nd phase of a boss where you discover the power of friendship.
That’s an interesting idea
I disagree, we need to enjoy something as good as this. I enjoy the games x10 with better tracks
I also disagree. Having your standard battle theme slap is never bad, and makes the trash fights more enjoyable.
@@smokyjo5245 also true
Honestly, yeah. Mostly because of the structure of the song. This song takes over 30 seconds to actually get going - and by then, a random battle is going to be over. And the softer instruments at the beginning get a bit powered over by the sounds of Lent and Ryza smacking fools over the head with blunt instruments.
This seems more like a thing that would play in boss fights, or in a cutscene when Ryza and her gang are being badass.
Sadly, but the ingame volume is underwhelming and because the game itself is using kinda mixed up turn based and real time stuff, i rarely enjoy the music.
