The wired XE is the best mouse I have ever used, even after buying and testing over 40 of them in the last year. Very happy to see 75g-ish weight. Slightly higher weight helps my tracking and stability. Good luck to you on launch and you’ll have my money.

Hands down the most professional mouse company to date. Props! The only thing in my wishlist is.. the weight. I know it was discussed in the video but I believe everything is possible. I found 65-67g to be the sweet spot for a great balanced mouse while not being too lightweight. Wishing you all the best!

while I probably won't be buying this first gen of wireless from Vaxee, I will be closely watching over their next iteration and hopefully lighter wireless mouse and buy that. Really appreciate the honesty and transparency in this product showcase, wish all companies were like this.
Over the course of their history Vaxee has challenged my preconceptions of what makes a good gaming mouse, and now they are easily my favourites. (I no longer favour ultra lightweight, and think no grooves on triggers is superior). I trust their thought process and the Outset AX is my absolute favourite mouse and the best performing I've ever used (especially the original uncoated trigger version). Looking forward to picking up the wireless version. The only small niggle is I assume it'll be with the coated buttons, when Vaxee were so right initially that uncoated mouse buttons are lighter crisper, which I think is nicer and performs better. Not a deal-breaker though.

@@VAXEECompletely off-topic but I have a np01s and outset ax, I switched your original mousefeet a while ago for mousefeet on one of the mice. The thickness of the new feet are .7mm. I personally feel the tracking/sensor feels off, its not as good as your .6mm on it. Is it just me or is it possible it does actually change the sensor feel? Also changing the LOD to higher stance makes the LOD feel too high. And looking forward to the outset ax wireless release!

What is the expected weight of the NP01 Wireless? Will the mouse include any other improvements other than wireless (specifically, comfort grooves, or a different click design)
NP-01 Wireless is expected to be slightly lighter than NP-01 and it will have a mechanical scroll wheel for battery purpose, the remaining outside design of clicks and shape should remain the same. If there is any change, we will update later on - AX and NP-01S are coming first in Q2, and only after we will work on NP-01.
Great to see it! Were you trying to improve on the coating compared to the wired versions or will it stay the same? That was the only small issue I found in my model, but other than that it's lovely, can't wait for wireless version.

Sorry, for the wireless models they will come with the same type of wheel as XE. We are aware of the lifetime concern about mechanical encoder, that's why we chose a decent mechanical encoder brand to make sure the quality can be maintained over time. The mechanical encoder is more power efficient, that's why we will use it in all our wireless models

As competitors release more premium prices at lower prices, are there any plans to adjust Vaxee wired prices to be more appropriate for the current market?
We have no plan to lower our prices, with inflation and cost of materials they are more likely to become more expensive than they are to become cheaper.
We have considered this in the past but decided against it since the weight difference would be minimal and it would affect the convenience of it, therefore we do not have plan to remove them
The restock is dependant on when products arrive in each region, April 4th is itself also an estimate. Once it arrives in each region we will announce specific day and time for the restock, it will be in early April
Our mouse does not have any software. It's plug and play with all changes made either through the switches at the bottom of the mouse or through holding down button combinations. There are 4 preset debounce times - 2, 3, 4 and 8 ms
Can we expect similar increase in weight for the other wireless mice? E.g. would the wireless np01s end up being somewhere north of 75 grams? As long as it isn't too heavy I'll definitely be buying it. Although I switch between mice depending on game, the np01s has been on my desk since I bought it and seen a lot of use.
Super excited to hear that it's actually going to be lighter. Then I'm not even making a meaningful sacrifice in weight as compared to Razer/Logitech's flagship mice. Not to mention that the NP01s already felt light for its weight due to having a lot of contact points with my hand when I grip it.
I gotta say @vaxee . You guys are really killing it. Love your design philosophy. Glad you aren't just another fad chasing crap making company. Give us reliable, long lasting, quality, good grippy covered nice shapes.. Make then reasonable weight. Just like you are 65 to 80 grams. Also, please consider leaving at least one "function" button on all your mice. I, and many others have gotten accustomed to remapping and binding the traditional dpi buttons in game. I also, for one, would like ability to re bind buttons and quite possibly use one as a "shift" . On your xe, would be the perfect one to give software for this reason. That would increase productivity for work and if course, some of us would use it for gaming. Make software completely not necessary..... Just a bonus. Another note, so very many of us don't care about fingerprints if that is what it cost to have SUPERB grip on our mouse. Reviewers point this out like it a big deal.......... It's not too anyone who really wants a gaming mouse. We want performance! Sure, if you can do it without prints, awesome. Otherwise we don't care. Just some feedback. Again, love your philosophy and quality. I have your np-01s and xe wired! I love them! Please consider making a g100s with side buttons, it something similar. Not the g305.... But the more safe, office style egg shape so many of us old guys grew up using..... Since we started on OEM office mice!
I've heard members of your team at VAXEE worked previously with Zowie before Zowie became "BenQ Zowie". Whats crazy is, Zowie was my end all be all for mice before the merge, and if what I was told is true, then its no wonder why that was the case for me personally. The passion is clear. Appreciate the transparency. Not that I am a fan of holes or either suggesting having holes on the mouse to achieve the lower weight, but what is your view of it? With the looming market filled attempts to do everything they can to reduce the weight further, may I know what is your reasoning?
We are not aiming for a higher weight, we are aiming for a good sturdiness and reliability of our mice and a higher weight is a consequence of this. We will lower weights step by step while considering that, sorry that our current weight does not suit you, we totally understand.
What's the mouse you using currently? XE is sort of wider shape so there's enough space for 1-3-1 grip, you can drop us a DM through Twitter or Facebook of how you grip the mouse then we can recommend you more specifically

I have zygen and outset ax, both are great mice but shape is not good for my 20x11cm hand and full palm grip, where my carpal is not touching mousepad my ideal back is same as kone pro. Wirelles implementation is looking dope. I think there should be option for 125hz polling rate to longer battery life like 3x times. Any firmware update when 3395 have issues?
The XE Wireless has the most up-to date and stable firmware installed. We are sorry that the current shapes do not suit you, perhaps in the future we will have something that is more suitable. As for your feedback on the polling rate, we are sorry but that is not something we are considering

If you like the NP-01 shape and just want something in wireless, you can wait for NP-01 wireless release later in the year. If you are looking for a different type of shape, you can consider XE as it is wider, has the hump in a different position and lower, and is symmetrical

@@VAXEE No reason to be, conversing and listening is already more than others do and im certain you will expand when your means increase, and it would be nice to bring some more competition to a certain ex employer of some in your company. But to not just criticize, the triangle contact points(with moe or less tilt depending on the shape) in regards to the grip are a very good approach for a stable, firm, but not uncomfortable hold.

The PgDn button on top of the mouse can be used for a number of purposes. Our DPI switch is at the bottom of the mouse =)

@@VAXEECompletely off-topic but I have a np01s and outset ax, I switched your original mousefeet a while ago for mousefeet on one of the mice. The thickness of the new feet are .7mm.
I personally feel the tracking/sensor feels off, its not as good as your .6mm on it.
Is it just me or is it possible it does actually change the sensor feel? Also changing the LOD to higher stance makes the LOD feel too high.
And looking forward to the outset ax wireless release!
@@MeyKoo A higher LOD normally adds up around 0.2-0.3mm so it is probably why you feel it is too high

What is the expected weight of the NP01 Wireless? Will the mouse include any other improvements other than wireless (specifically, comfort grooves, or a different click design)
NP-01 Wireless is expected to be slightly lighter than NP-01 and it will have a mechanical scroll wheel for battery purpose, the remaining outside design of clicks and shape should remain the same. If there is any change, we will update later on - AX and NP-01S are coming first in Q2, and only after we will work on NP-01.

Are you keep using optical encoder on other wireless mice? I like optical encoders not need to replace mice every 1 year because wheel problem
Sorry, for the wireless models they will come with the same type of wheel as XE. We are aware of the lifetime concern about mechanical encoder, that's why we chose a decent mechanical encoder brand to make sure the quality can be maintained over time. The mechanical encoder is more power efficient, that's why we will use it in all our wireless models
I see so for your next wired mice and future wired mice it will be using an optical scroll wheel encoder? I’m one of those people who prefer optical encoder

We have considered this in the past but decided against it since the weight difference would be minimal and it would affect the convenience of it, therefore we do not have plan to remove them

The restock is dependant on when products arrive in each region, April 4th is itself also an estimate. Once it arrives in each region we will announce specific day and time for the restock, it will be in early April

Our mouse does not have any software. It's plug and play with all changes made either through the switches at the bottom of the mouse or through holding down button combinations. There are 4 preset debounce times - 2, 3, 4 and 8 ms

As long as it isn't too heavy I'll definitely be buying it. Although I switch between mice depending on game, the np01s has been on my desk since I bought it and seen a lot of use.

Super excited to hear that it's actually going to be lighter. Then I'm not even making a meaningful sacrifice in weight as compared to Razer/Logitech's flagship mice. Not to mention that the NP01s already felt light for its weight due to having a lot of contact points with my hand when I grip it.

I gotta say @vaxee . You guys are really killing it. Love your design philosophy. Glad you aren't just another fad chasing crap making company. Give us reliable, long lasting, quality, good grippy covered nice shapes.. Make then reasonable weight. Just like you are 65 to 80 grams.
Also, please consider leaving at least one "function" button on all your mice. I, and many others have gotten accustomed to remapping and binding the traditional dpi buttons in game. I also, for one, would like ability to re bind buttons and quite possibly use one as a "shift" . On your xe, would be the perfect one to give software for this reason. That would increase productivity for work and if course, some of us would use it for gaming. Make software completely not necessary..... Just a bonus.
Another note, so very many of us don't care about fingerprints if that is what it cost to have SUPERB grip on our mouse. Reviewers point this out like it a big deal.......... It's not too anyone who really wants a gaming mouse. We want performance! Sure, if you can do it without prints, awesome. Otherwise we don't care.
Just some feedback. Again, love your philosophy and quality. I have your np-01s and xe wired! I love them!
Please consider making a g100s with side buttons, it something similar. Not the g305.... But the more safe, office style egg shape so many of us old guys grew up using..... Since we started on OEM office mice!
I've heard members of your team at VAXEE worked previously with Zowie before Zowie became "BenQ Zowie". Whats crazy is, Zowie was my end all be all for mice before the merge, and if what I was told is true, then its no wonder why that was the case for me personally. The passion is clear. Appreciate the transparency. Not that I am a fan of holes or either suggesting having holes on the mouse to achieve the lower weight, but what is your view of it? With the looming market filled attempts to do everything they can to reduce the weight further, may I know what is your reasoning?
We are not aiming for a higher weight, we are aiming for a good sturdiness and reliability of our mice and a higher weight is a consequence of this. We will lower weights step by step while considering that, sorry that our current weight does not suit you, we totally understand.
Would you recommend this mouse for 9cm wide 1-3-1 grip?
What's the mouse you using currently? XE is sort of wider shape so there's enough space for 1-3-1 grip, you can drop us a DM through Twitter or Facebook of how you grip the mouse then we can recommend you more specifically

We are sorry but we are unable to provide any level of after-sales service in Indonesia. This is why we do not ship our mouse / keyboard products there. There are customers that contact us wanting mousepads and for those, we are able to help make special orders. We accept Google Pay / Apple Pay and we have customers who use pre-paid debit cards as well.

I have zygen and outset ax, both are great mice but shape is not good for my 20x11cm hand and full palm grip, where my carpal is not touching mousepad my ideal back is same as kone pro. Wirelles implementation is looking dope. I think there should be option for 125hz polling rate to longer battery life like 3x times. Any firmware update when 3395 have issues?
The XE Wireless has the most up-to date and stable firmware installed. We are sorry that the current shapes do not suit you, perhaps in the future we will have something that is more suitable. As for your feedback on the polling rate, we are sorry but that is not something we are considering

If you like the NP-01 shape and just want something in wireless, you can wait for NP-01 wireless release later in the year. If you are looking for a different type of shape, you can consider XE as it is wider, has the hump in a different position and lower, and is symmetrical

I have tried to buy your products on multiple occasions, but why don't you ship to Mexico?
We could technically ship to many places in the world but we would not be able to provide any good level of after-service. Also, there are additional taxes and very high shipping costs. As it is, we are already dealing with higher shipping costs being a smaller company. We hope that in time we can cover more countries but for now we are sorry. We are simply not able to.

In our near future the only fully ergo we are working on is bringing the AX shape to Wireless, no bigger size yet, though it is definitely in our consideration, sorry that we cannot provide it yet
@@VAXEE No reason to be, conversing and listening is already more than others do and im certain you will expand when your means increase, and it would be nice to bring some more competition to a certain ex employer of some in your company. But to not just criticize, the triangle contact points(with moe or less tilt depending on the shape) in regards to the grip are a very good approach for a stable, firm, but not uncomfortable hold.
