good show of gold bud. i'm a prospector from Medicine Hat and have a few claims out in the east kootenays. don't see those kind of pans where i'm digging. so nice work my friend. i'm here to tell ya to get yourself a 15 inch garret super sluice. my personal favorite. double your production. no fuss no muss. keep up the good work bud.
Thanks for watching, yeah I did have a super sluice, my garage was broken into and all of my Panning gear was stolen last year so I’m slowly buying all new gear. I love the east kootenays, wish I had a claim down there too! Cheers 🍻🇨🇦🍻🇨🇦
Nice shiny gold. Gold fever makes you do things like getting up super early, driving long distance to hang out with bears. We also have mountain lions, poison oak and snakes here in CA
Cold Water Prospecting yeah it’s crazy what a guy will do for gold! I’ve actually been down to the yuba 3 times in the last year and had a really close call with a rattler!
This place is the Okanagon valley in British Columbia Canada we also have Rattlesnakes, Bears , Cougars also , this area hit 115 degrees , just a little ways from here the temperature hit 121 F, this past summer , this is Grape country, look up Okanagon Vally British Columbia
@@squamishfish sounds similar to some of the areas I frequent except for the wine. That is in another part of California but not too far away. I need to visit BC again.
M Thiessen thanks. I’d be down there all the time if I lived right there. I’ve heard of other doing much better than I did, I’ve only been there twice .
Gold Freak Miner it’s very high water right now, about 4’ deep and very high flow rate. Will be interesting to see where the gold settles out this summer.
next time your here in kelowna. theres a good spot further up the creek. by Gallagher canyon. around where the old time miners once dug. found good gold. and some mercury.
im in kelowna now and was curious where abouts on gallagher canyon as its huge area. should i take reekie rd to mobile home trailer park as its closest to creek? whats the best way to get there? thx alot
I live in southern Alberta but I used to live in kelowna for 18 years. I wish I picked up gold prospecting when I lived there, used to fish mission creek all the time
Aaron Gold Freak Miner yeah I’m going back to visit my family in November and I’ll bring my panning gear in case I get time to sneak away. I’m tired of washing gravel and coming up with the odd speck of color in the Crowsnest Pass area. Just bought a claim in fort Steele but I think it’s a dud so far 🧐
There are better spots on the creek if you look around enough. If you go to the power station at the end of Hollywood Rd. you should be able to get close to a gram a day if you get on a streak.
im in Kelowna now and was just on the mission creek trail today but no colours as yet where is the power station exactly? i walked to the 11.5km marker from the parking lot on hollywood s but did not see any power station no colour panning as yet may have to dig deeper, some good spots to pan tho

The gold is the brightest at 6 am. Great program.

Nice! I live by the North Saskatchewan, and tired of flour gold. Planning on heading out to BC this summer.
Right on, I live in red Deer so I’m at the North Saskatchewan all the time. With the right equipment that River is very productive
New,subbed. Loving that river, nice flake, dig the hat 👍👍😎⛏

Marty Schmidt it’s funny, I look back on places I’ve been before I was into panning as well and it just mean you have to back now

Nice video Thank You for sharing!
Nice video im in that area bybthat Canon what part of the creek were ya at 🎉
I’m happy with my panning technique but I have no idea about where to look or dig as I get loads of black sand but never any gold
What did you use to get all the magnetic sand out it takes me for ever to process my gold
those are big rocks, and look to be quartz. Maybe there is an ancient channel there?
Also, Im wickedly jealous of your countertop!
Nummers thanks. It’s definitely a unique countertop.lit from bottom and glows through the crystals
Just like me haha..family at the hotel sleeping and I’m out panning at the crack of dawn
A trick : you can watch movies at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Santana Jordy Definitely, I have been using flixzone for since december myself :D
Going to start panning as a fun hobby and outing with the fam Jam!
No luck today with gold...but we found a black HUGE slug thing lmao! Worth it!
That’s a great spot.
you would do better with a sluice box or can you just pan only
sarah brewer yup it’s pan only area
Did you have to buy a claim here ? or is it open for public?
James Martin open for anyone bud
@@goldfreakminer2826 can you run hibanker down there? or is it like a panning reserve?
James Martin it’s in park area in Kelowna so only pans, not even a sluice
💪💪💪💪lol good times love panning
Cool vid mate just subscribed to your channel 😀
awesome thanks for watching, already had subscibed to yours!
A great video. Was that a piece of gold sitting on a rock at 7:39. Cheers from Australia
Wayne Gutschmidt I hope not, cause if it was I missed it lol. Thanks man
not bad looking gold there!

I think if you go maybe early spring, ya you could do really good!

Where do you go to sell your gold? I live in the area and I'm going to give gold panning a try , since I love hiking and exploring nature anyway.
PathosAres it takes a LOT of panning to add up to any $ value. I will never sell it, maybe make things out of it. Thanks for watching!
Nice Color !!!
I live in southern Ontario i bought everything i need to prospect but i live in a bad area 😂😂
Way to go buds!! Great video!!
