WOW! I am always intrigued with the overhead videos by Dan Scheidel but this month's viewing had me totally enthralled. Absolutely amazing footage of devastation by fire but the beauty of nature. Thank you, Dan.

Trevor Jones layout isn't the only excellent H0/00 scale outdoor layout in the UK. Another excellent outdoor garden railway/railroad is one made by Paul Barnard built to the same standard of Trevors. Paul has got a channel on UA-cam to see his garden layout called Daws Heath, in action.

The fire ravaged forests remind me of what we get here in Australia almost every year - the big difference is our lack of spectacular railroads in the areas where our fires generally occur. Beautifully done videography...

Love the idea of an HO scale garden railway. Does Trevor have a website with the techniques he used to build the layout?

The UK magazine publication Hornby magazine did cover the construction of this layout years ago when it was being built. Hornby Magazine UA-cam channel has some videos on the railway its worth a look.

Love that Ho garden layout. I model 0 gauge outside and have a lot of fun doing so and the video you can shoot is just fantastic. Thanks for sharing...

Thank you once again Ken for having Birdie and I at the house. Opening the show with Holly was so much fun! Love the outdoor HO layout and the great drone footage. Outdoor layout here in Colorado might be a little challenging with 70 MPH winds we get sometimes! Scottie

Hi Ken, what happened to the N gauge layout you started a year ago, I seem to have missed Part 2

I just love the opening..Holly Anne! Just act natural! The segment with Jenny & Trevor was amazing! The HO Layout outside! Who knew? The drone footage is just outstanding by Dan! I always look forward to this segment! I also look forward to Larry with Bachmann. The runby's are my favorite! This is "The Best Hobby In The World" Till Next Time! Ide like to know how he gets around heat buckling the track and destroying it which is what happened to me a few years back. Since then I’ve had my models indoors until someone has a solution to heat proof the tracks. Great video as always from another obsessed train nut from New Zealand.

You need to leave expansion gaps where the track joins are. Roughly 1mm/0.0394 inch because when the track expands in the heat with non expansion gapped track it can push the track its joined to and cause the buckling.

This show used to have helpful modeling segments. Now it’s just a talk show…. Very disappointed anymore.
