Beauty as always! I audibly gasped at 3:19 with heavy looking stick blender sway, fearful of major spill. 🐈 in my lap gave me a “do not disturb me” 👀. Thank goodness 😅 no spill 💕
I have a real fear of using the heat transfer method. Every time I see you do it, especially at this volume, I think your the Clint Eastwood of soap! When I started making this amount, my wife bought me one of those induction cooktops with one burner for my butters. Works out fantastic. By the time I get done measuring everything my butters are melted at an even 100 degrees. Its faster and much better then the microwave. So for all you chickens out there like me, get an induction burner for you butters. It cooks so different that hot dogs nearly come out twice the size. My stove won't even do that. Awesome way to go for chickens like me who are afraid of the heat transfer method.
It’s not so scary! 😬 🤪 I’ve been using a burner to melt my butters this last few weeks. You’ll see in my upcoming videos. People probably won’t like it. They like seeing the heat transfer method. But since I’m using coconut milk now my batter is thickening up quicker so I’m going back to the traditional way. ☺️
Sorry but those colors do not remind me of a pear . Buyers like me connect colors to the scent. I would have preferred a green and caramel brown color instead but that is only my opinion.

With the heat transfer method it’s around 110-115° once everything is mixed.

Beautiful! How do you keep your white from getting glycerin rivers? I have tried keeping the temps down. Guess I just have to keep practicing!!😊
What is your water to lye ratio?
Ophelia’s Soapery I usually do 33 or 35 percent.
Ophelia’s Soapery I guess that is my water to oils?
Hello, what temperature is your lye solution when you add it to your butters? Thank you in advance.
Over 200°. I pour it as soon as the lye is dissolved.
Bummed I missed out on this soap. 😩
I didn’t think it would sell out that fast. 😔 But it is still available in the sample pack. ☺️
