Trust Ms, you don’t have to apologize. I purchased a pair of the Oran sandals just to add to my collection of sandals. However, I also purchased the Steve Maddens in the Denim dupe, cap toe dupes in the Ellison, and the Cape sandal in Steve Madden. Steve shoes are so comfortable.

It's so silly I'm still hoping one day I will find a pair of orans that "work" for me, maybe in a cloth material, or swift leather, etc., just so I can have a pair in my collection lol 😅

Here is my unpopular opinion: Cannot believe that a well known brand just copies what others do and sells these in plain side. How different is that from fakes found on the market? Yes, these are at a great price point, but they should come with their own designs. We see berkinstocks for e.g. going viral. This is absolutely not ok for designer brands. And worst part is if they are sued by the brands they are copying, people will act as if it is a David vs. Goliath battle. Steve Madden have this coming.

I definitely get where you're coming from! Surprisingly, Steve Madden has yet to be sued by high-end designer brands (they've been sued by other brands in the past like New Balance, Skechers, etc.) At the same time, is what they are doing so different from H&M and Zara, where their entire business model is recreating runway designs for a fraction of the cost? It's so funny that like you mention, we see this as more "legitimate" than the fakes, even though they are all but putting a fake label on their products! Like I mentioned in the video, I don't quite know where I stand, I know I'm partly to blame when I'm buying their "designer-inspired" products too...
