I was just excited because sporrans are typically worn by men so it’s interesting to incorporate it into a drag/gender bending aesthetic. Willam’s keen to support local businesses in Edinburgh in this video and seems to have bought an authentic sporran as opposed to a gaudy knock off from a tourist shop, so I don’t think offence or harm was intended.

Wow I used to shop at that store when I was a teenager back in the late 80s/early 90s. I wish I could still fit into the Westwood/Hamnett/Armand Basi/Mugler I bought back then (designer stuff was much cheaper back then, A student could afford it). Alas 100lbs of muscle and belly later……

Unrelated: I have dark brunette hair and at school my nickname was "malteser" (because I'm "brown on the outside and blonde on the inside")
