Greetings from Toronto Canada. I was there a month a go for vacation, I am a small blogger too. I really enjoyed your blog of Makati and BGC, Mall of Asia its very detailed, I was not able to blog much cos security guard tells me no filming. You should go back at night at BGC for Venice Grand Canal, BGC High Street and UPtown Mall, its so stunning at night.
Greenbelt was about half a miles from my hotel, SEDA when I was there. There is literally 3 or 4 malls practically connected together. Its very beautiful and there are so many shop and restaurants and a lot of open space with greenery.
Filipinos love to go out but it is hot outside. So the malls are the perfect place to hang out in a cool environment. It is officially summer already in the Philippines. Summer is indeed hot. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated.
I'm a Filipino myself and been living here in Florida since 2009, and been a US citizen since 2004. But I won't ever ever forget that I am still a full-blooded Filipino. And these are just the reasons that I'm still so proud to be a Filipino. My own country Philippines is a world-class, and most beautiful country on the planet. With most friendly, passionate and most professional and most talented people in the world. The world has to acknowledge Manila as well as one of the most beautiful city in the world, there's no BS about that. Your vlog here is just one of the hundreds and hundreds of vlogs that proves Manila is better than any other famous city in Southeast Asia. And I can attest to that 'cause I've been to Southeast Asia myself, and I've also travelled in Middles East as well, one been to one country in Europe (Portugal). But to me those countries are no match when compared to my beloved Philippines...so my final word to you foreign bloggers, you are lucky to be travelling and experiencing my country Philippines...😊😅

You actually experienced the reason why there are many malls in the Philippines. The malls are airconditioned and the malls help beat the heat. That is the simple reason. Then the rest follows.
Soon to open at Mall of Asia b4 end of 2023 is the Football Field at the 5th level (rooftop) with a cap of 10k+ people. With the additional open field MOA becomes the largest Mall in the entire world.
Makati goes on and on too. It has a lot of peaceful quiet neighborhoods with nice parks and many restaurants. BGC also has a lot more. Both Makati and BGC will take all day to explore on foot
The reason why we do have a lot of indoor Air-conditioned Malls because The Philippines s is hot country...They are all part of Ayala Malls except SM Malls

when i been to US cities like San francisco and LA. i was also shocked that these cities has tons of slums, poverty and homeless people in the streets the city is very dirty alot of garbage and rubish everywhere. do you think California state deserves to called a rich state or a rich country if its independent. lol look at Los Angeles few buildings while MANILA has dense of skyscrapers and very modern though it has still poor area but i prefer MANILA over LA or any US cities, because of very diverse and vibrant City. in fact you can get some western branches and everything around the world in MANILA like makati or BGC area.

The malls in the Philppines is the refuge of people being the tropical country where heat is enormous. Unlike in cold countries many of the malls are closing down.
The sky was actually "damn" blue 😄. This was shot on a GoPro which tends to make blues richer, and also makes people's skin more tan, in my opinion. But it's all good 😄

Stay hydrated and don’t shy away from using an umbrella to block the harsh afternoon sun and to avoid heat stroke. Yes Ayala Makati aka Makati Financial District is only busy during weekdays. Also, if you’re staying in the Metro during Holy Week stock up on essentials because the capital will practically be a ghost town with people going back to their provinces. Businesses will be closed or have limited open hours.
even on weekends, there's a lot of people (who live there) jogging around, going out to eat, and enjoying their neighborhood. But it's not like BGC, where a lot of people from outside come and overcrowd the place
Hope when you’re back in Makati, you can visit the Ayala museum (spend a couple of hours, not just in the free viewing section) , to learn more about Philippine history. During weekends , there are food stalls and other activities along Paseo de Roxas in the afternoon to evening

if you will just fly a drown to take a look at the bay,theres a reclamation project on that area. the total island to be reclaimed at the manila bay is 25 where will rise modern airport smart cities.

Greenbelt is unique in that way, very green ! Not just a big building with shops. Very nice !

u forgot to visit in the bgc taguig area also the mall called venice grand canal mall if u never been to venice italy u amazed that this malled is much beautiful than the venice in italy hope u vivit this and the filipino-american cemetery in bgc too more of history of the philippinee❤️🇵🇭

Oh yeah the Mall of Asia is one of the largest malls in Asia. They say it takes about 3 full days to explore every nook and cranny of the mall.
