Your right. I use 1/2 c only and straighten out my sheets, fitted wrapping on one side and flat sheet on the other. My yellow is my husband sweats. I also just use baking soda detergent only due to sensitive skin issues, rinses clean.
You are right, bluing does keep them white - thanks. Be sure to check out or 150 + bedding related tips here - www.verolinens.com/how-to-luxury-bed-sheets-linens-tips/
Great tips. I was changing my case after flipping it around 4xs. Now it's every other nite. Just sleep on clean side then laundry. I wasn't changing often enough. Case liners are so important too. Hair. I don't need to wash it so much anymore but think if when you're out. Hair catches sneezes and pollution. A good brushing b4 bed and a wet washcloth run through it could only be positive. Before retirement we are surviving and too often don't self care enough. Understandable but it's so defeating isn't it? Good old fashioned boar bristle brushes are great investment.
Thank you so much for adding this video. It's exactly the kind of info I was searching for since it's very clear and complete. One question though. Since you recommend avoiding fabric softeners in either liquid or sheets, what can I use to make sure my sheets are soft and without static?
Glad it was helpful! As far as softness, good sheets should start off soft and will get softer with each washing. As far as static, try taking them out of the drier before they are 100% dry. Hand press them to minimize wrinkles and put them back on the bed or in the linen closet. I have an HE washing machine so it doesn’t fill up very much with water, so is that still gonna clean my sheets and I had purchased your washing detergent and I plan on using that so well that makes any difference in an HE washing machine?
I’ve tried to wash my (queen size) summer duvet (3 kg) in my 7 kg front loader with synthetic program at 60°C. However I see that it wasn’t properly washed due to the volume and I tried to give it an extra rinse as well. Do you have any solution for my problem?

Using bleach once in a while may whiten them up. Using it on a regular basis can damage your sheets and make the rough to the touch. Be sure to checkout our 150+ bedding tips here www.verolinens.com/how-to-luxury-bed-sheets-linens-tips/
Bleach is hard on the cotton. We don't recommend it, but if you do this occasionally vs. each time you wash your sheet, it won't detract from their life too much. If you at a point in which you are not going to use them any longer due to discoloration, it can't hurt. Baking soda with every wash and some liquid detergent?
Do I use white vinegar in the rinse cycle or with the liquid detergent
You don't have to use them with every wash, it doesn't hurt them. Some people will use Vinegar we one wash and baking soda with the next.
