Buyers can now complain about interest rates instead of lack of inventory! Lots of homes for sale in my subdivision all at a 20% reduction. These are the same homes people were making multiple offers on at drastically higher values not that long ago🤷♂️
Rob many people are selling because they see prices declining much further. My neighbour paid 1.3 in 2006 and had no mortgage he sold for 3,595,000 in 23 and the reason he sold was he said he walked away with 3.4 in cash and he can get 5.5 safely on the money so call it 190k per year and he just rented the similar home for 84k per year and figures the 3,595,000 price tag on his house will be 2,500,000 or 2,600,000 by 2027 so if he didnt sell he figured he would lose a million in the next couple years. He works on Bay Street for one of the Big Six banks

When Niagara prices, Thorold, Welland prices are similar to Hamilton downtown or then why someone should buy over there? You can pay 200K more and better get in Proper GTA. Like 800-900K detached in NIAGARA REGION with 5-6% isn’t worth it. What kind of jobs are in the region? None! Markets will get worse before it gets better. I’m a homeowner but that’s what it looks like. GTA condo is the reason for all problems
Do prices only go up? What happened from 89 to 95 . I think thats whats going to happen between 2025 and 2030

I’d guess that listings will continue to skyrocket for the next year or so. People are stretched financially and they want their house gone long before renewal time comes around.

But wait you are 💯 percent wrong on that house 600,000 max 420 000.only get worse from this year 2012 are real price this is from cash buyer lost 30,years sory you are wrong remember 89 price to,95,98,are coming back. Interest rate is very good price is the problem.

I'm so glad I got out of renting houses . I still own one duplex and I dont bother renting it out . rather let it sit vacant and enjoy the extra space.. future effected is here now...lmao.

It's a business with rules and risks. The government already does everything possible to keep prices elevated, why complain about a bit of protection towards something a human needs.

I thought after the hearing, the tenant would be given some time to leave, not 1 hour and It would still take a while to book an appointment with the Sheriff if needed
