@TwoWheelTrigger I'd go with the vivid black. I love the murdered out look. I want something with a little more torque and weight for comfort on longer hauls. I want the after-market availability, the sound of the M8, and the fact that it already comes with an LED headlight is awesome. I want the touring capability, but I'm not one for fairings. On demo days, I've experienced a lot of buffeting on my helmet, and it's loud. Plus, I wear full gear and I get really hot. Wind fatigue is real though lol.
@@bconte15 the Road Glide definitely allows for an awesome long distance ride. I get plenty of wind in my face but it’s planted on the road. The Road King is definitely classic styling and looks awesome. Vivid Black is a solid choice… black on black looks killer. When is your goal for getting one?
@TwoWheelTrigger Couple three years. I'm in school to be an X-ray tech, and after I graduate, I should make enough to get one. Honestly, I've never ridden the Road King or the Road Glide. I road and Indian Springfield Dark horse, and I just think the Harley looks better and again better aftermarket support. Next time there's an HD demo truck, I'll be sure to try out the two.
Nice video :) i am riding a 2023 BMW R1250 GSA trophy, but the last month i am talking to a dealer here in Sweden about a 2023 RG ST .... i want to go for it but kind of hesitant.... my main concern is its end of 2023 and new ones are comming out soon ... at the same time if one thinks like this we will never buy anything.. :) Want to make the change into Harleys :) What do you think? :)
I completely agree with you - you have to draw a line in the sand and decide when is the right time. I personally always buy at the end of the model year because I get a better deal on a still new bike. As far as the switch to Harley’s - we welcome you with open arms! Head over to a dealership and test ride some. I love how differently my Pan America and Road Glide ride, and there are some other really fun models as well!
Love the view and conversation brother! 😊
Thank you! Just clearing my head as I ride... definitely a therapy for me.
I'm riding a 2019 Honda Shadow, but I really want a Road King Special.
I started out on a 2007 Honda Shadow 600. Dependable bikes. What color Road King Special and what draws you to that model?

I will say, watching the video, the Road Glide looks like it has decent air ways

Dude, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve had a Little Debbie, but I used to slay some Nutty Buddy’s.
A solid choice my friend!
