@Broghammer Autohaus Inc. Could you possibly try to explain how tuning works with graphs?
Like Images which show what happens when u put a slider to + or -
I keep getting confused with toe in and toe out… Wether it’s the top or bottom of the tire pointing in/out and what it makes my car do…
I have trouble connecting the ingame descriptions to the tutorial descriptions and keep forgetting what happens / lose track of what I’ve been doing during tuning…
Also when tuning Gearbox I’m confused as can be despite watching tutorials… (For automatic), cuz if I increase say my second and third gear to approx the same it tends to skip a gear, also it doesn’t downshift or pushing at all when I make certain adjustments…
Like.. the Apollo, when I try to detune it to 600HP it goes 80km/h in first gear… or 50.. second gear goes up to 120 or so… It makes no sense, whatever I do with the gear ratio…
I’m an imagery thinker and “words” are hard for me to grasp… I need like a graph as to what the car does differently with each tuning…
Like what is it that causes a car to automatically straighten out in a tune?…
How do I get it to max angle & still have the grip to straighten it up for transition / anti-spin-out?
I’d expect I need front grip to prevent it from spinning, but then I buy a tune from you or B333 or Car X Tut and I see them doing completely different things…
Putting the Suspension stiffness on the front on , but not maxing it out; instead they do like half…
I understand the wheel locking on the gear, the higher it is the more it pushes out, thus more angle…
It’s confusing as can be despite me seemingly understanding :’)
I did manually tune my Phoenix NX, works perfectly fine, but the Apollo is a mystery to me…

thing is when i do this it only shows 3 options which is front wheel, rear wheel, and general thats all there is no suspension and engine etc

Hey man, i got a question, but it's not about the tuning, it's about the controls, i play manual but without the clutch, i wanted to know if the clutch do anything, drift wise, other then alow you to shift gears, if it have any effect on angle, grip, speed, etc
I do manual sequential with the clutch option so I don’t use it when shifting normally but I can use it when I get in a pinch and need to clutch kick
How the hell do I share my tunes?Im literally I cant find it! In the livery there is a spot that says “share” and thats how it works but id dont show in tuning workshop!

My main question is, only one of my cars even HAS a tab that says "custom"... Why don't i have this tab for my other cars???
The car has to be upgraded to pro street I think it is before custom is available. And pro drift 3 unlocks all tuning ability
Do you have any tips for making money in carx, i am level 10 and still struggling with money, especially i just bought the fc-90s and for me the upgrade money is soo expensive

Just focus on one car first and upgrade it all the way. That’ll be the best way to make money and spend it all on performance not on appearance first

Thanks for this. Seems like such a basic thing, but the frustration in finding the tuning section had me wanting to throw my phone out the window. One other question, when you win an item in an event such as a tuning kit or vinyl, how do you go about using them? For example, I got rewarded a prostreet tuning kit, I went to the garage to apply it and the game was still making me purchase it. Same thing with the vinyls. I get the car, gas, and tire prizes for free, but everything else I still have to pay for.
The vinyl when you win it in the event gives you a major discount but it’s not free, and for the tuning that’s always free when it’s unlocked in an event so you had pro street included but to get to pro drift you have to pay the additional difference

Yeah it’s gotten more expensive for sure, lots of gold and cash needed for a full pro drift 3 upgrade.

Yo, im new to the game and im having difficulty when i started the game i got the P something i forgot the Name of the car so i hve upgraded it but i feel like when i turn the corner it doesn't hve enough power even when im at Gear 3 sometimes when i turn the corner its hard to handle it spins i watched a lot of tuning videos but it doesn't cut it i think it's because of the horse power it's really low i thought of upgrading it to pro drift 3 but i also hve a Bimmy P30 which i haven't customized yet it cost a lot of coins but idk wut to do to get many coins i tried multiplayer, single player im still not good at Drifting just yet but yea thank u sorry for the long comment
it could be of the car, some cars aren’t good and some cars are so try a different car and see if it handles differently

It needs to be upgraded before it becomes available. Pro drift 3 unlocks all tuning options

I think it’s the standard one. When racing click the blue camera button in the top right to change it.
