I needed to see this episode TODAY. I have been overthinking and feeling like everything had to be perfect to launch and this young lady encouraged me to stop putting obstacles between action. Seeing someone young, female, and black who created a product brand from scratch was the SOCIAL PROOF I needed to know I can create something impactful, profitable, and dope.
I thought I wouldn’t take anything from this interview because she’s in a different niche however here I am 20 minutes in crying. I love her. She’s so inspirational.
She’s so cool and down to earth. When you’re young you’re fearless and don’t see the danger or obstacles as you do when you’re older. That’s the benefit of starting young.
Man I have seen so many of her interviews and even heard her on stage. This was by far one of her best interviews. She seemed so comfortable and a lot of what she said was real. & Throughout the interview she was so humble. I love that 💚
I really like that her clothes are fashionable and won't break my pockets. Most high fashion streetwear brands overcharge and just are about the money, but she seems to be in it for the people and the culture. I'll spend my money with her before I going to any of those other brands.
I loved this episode! 👏🏾👏🏾 I never knew her story and this was such a pleasure to watch and listen to. You can see how genuine she is by her smile! This was truly inspiring. And she's right, David you are an influencer already, but you definitely under estimate your influence 😉. You, Donni and the team are genuinely changing people's lives everyday and that's the true impact. Appreciate you all! 🙂🙏🏾
It's not that normal for me to sit and listen to someone for an hour and a half and smile throughout the complete presentation. To get one's attention in this fashion has to be an amazing presenter. First time hearing her and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed her transparency and her humble beginning as a health care worker. It was health care workers who who took care of my mom and they did a great job of it and I appreciate her works in this field. May God continue to bless and increase the works of your hands as you continue to move forward. Thanks also for the encouragement by sharing your story. Again, God bless!!!
Such an exciting story and love that you let her take her time and tell a real full story. Entrepreneurship is so dynamic and your interviews do justice every time! 🙌🏾
This episode just inspired me so much today. I always feel like my story and my life is all over the place. This helped me realize that’s okay. One day everything will come together. Right now I’m doing what I gotta do to get to where I want to be.

Love this episode! She’s so personable, transparent, and business savvy! I had to pause it because I loved what she said. “When you depend on a guy to feed you, he can starve you too”. Had to let that one sink in.
You pick Great Women❣️ I have seen her clothing but I never thought I could relate…probably geared towards younger audiences. I love her! So cute and raw and inspiring❣️
I love how she moves…how she is so relatable….how she motivates women to be self and do what makes you happy. The whole time I was watching this I had my pad and pen and was Cheesin so hard 😩😩😩 she is so dope and always has been. Keep winning beloved. Truth be told I adored her the most because of her care for the community. I happen to look up community services in Philly one day and how she went and spoke about her campaign for safe sex was how I originally became so connected to her brand. This girl is everything no 🧢…I even went to her first fashion show in Philly by myself …imagine a young girl from Harlem stepping in Philly using cabs and public transportation 😂😂😂 I just believed in her dream and brand and I still do…
I was meant to see this. I just discovered her brand around 2 yrs ago. I like the brand aesthetics, very modern and timeless to me. But I love her honesty, her transparency ,her passion, her entire swag, just seem humble and God fearing. It’s refreshing to see such successful person, so humble and gracefully poised. Congratulations to her ❤❤❤. I am about to quit my 9-5 this weekend too and finally to start my luxury lingerie and underwear brand. This one is gong to be for the history books 📚. All glory to God though.
This was a fire episode and David you are a big influencer in the community. I loved her story. I had a fashion business and it was too expensive to keep up with and I have it up. Miasha Coleman is also from philly born and raised, she wrote a book at 19 called secret society ,pushed it for years until a major publishing company signed her, she started a clothing brand with her kids and husband Mr Coleman and eventually activated her book into a feature film named after her book Secret society, although Miasha Coleman's companies could have drawn 100's of thousands in ppp loans She declined. "Milano D Rouge" aka jonE asked the government to give her 108k to cover her employee payroll when shes admitting she had the funds to make payroll . its weak to always take a business woman and compare her to the corporate model but i say compare milano to her philly counterpart Miasha Coleman a true philly legend .
This was very inspiring! Her passion, worth ethic and perseverance are things that all entrepreneurs can learn from. Thanks for delivering another iconic episode!
