Madden NFL 98 - PS1 - Chiefs vs Eagles - (Released: 1997) - cpu sim. - PlayStation - Retro nostalgia

Simulated game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs in Madden 98 for the PS1. Released: 1997
I chose the Chiefs and Eagles because they play in the Super Bowl on Sunday. My favorite thing about this Madden is the graphics. 98 was also released on 16 bit consoles, so this PS1 version really was a step up in tech. The sprites look so cool and take me back to the early days of the PS1.
The droning crowd sound on the other hand is pretty awful, like a lot of early sports games but its far from the worst I've heard. The voice samples are pretty good though.
The game itself actually kind of comes down to the wire and I found myself getting into it lol. For some weird reason after the game ends it cuts itself off and goes straight back to the title screen. I didn't get to look at the stats or anything after. In case anyone was wondering why it cut so abruptly.
All settings at default aside from lowering quarter length to 3 mins(lowest possible)
