- England Manager, Gareth Southgate, spoke at an exclusive Fan Forum event on Monday evening at St. James' Park as he looks ahead to the Three Lions' game with Bosnia & Herzegovina in NE1.
Southgate also spoke of the importance of Kieran Trippier to his England squad, the emergence of the recently called-up Anthony Gordon, and talks of the admiration he had for Newcastle United legend Sir Bobby Robson.

Month or 2 ago I would have not been saying this but Dan Burn should 100% be in his options at CB
He has been immense at CB since he was moved there and England the fact he called up that young boy from Everton before Burn is baffling, considering burn bullied him when we played them

sir i have one request as a newcastle fan that please don't select gordon conor etc we already have creative midfield in squad and some good wingers like grealish bowen(to whom you select i don't know much more and you'll select him) saka etc rather select some players like ward prowse sancho(if you think he's in form now) or surprise inclusion dan burn jamie vardy(who's service england and kane needs now) joe hart(if you think that he can still fit your squad) ben white joe gomez(if he can play in left back position because we have problem in that position) rashford(god jesus knows) harvey barnes(again god jesus knows)
for me 26 men england squad should be:-
GK-Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope/butland, Aaron Ramsdale
DEF-Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Chilwell, Luke Shaw(must go if he's 100%fit to play matches because you cannot use him as substitute), Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker,ben white(he must),john stones,dan burn/lewis hall/fikayo tomori/marc guehi/joe gomez/jarrad Branthwaite(if any one can really play well in left back position)
MID-Jude Bellingham, Conor Gallagher/james ward prowse(he must go than conor), James Maddison, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice,mount(if southgate likes him),henderson(he'll go)
FW-Harry Kane, Ivan Toney, raheem sterling/rashford(if southgate thinks that anyone or both can play well according to his expectations so good they are most welcome,but if not better if both will not get selected by him),Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka,bowen/sancho(i will go with sancho if southgate thinks bowen ok i don't know how he plays),grealish
