During the American Revolution - Princeton was considered to be the "hotbed" of the Revolution. King George declared something to the effect that the colonies had run away with a man named Witherspoon. Parliament considered the Revolution to be the product of Presbyterianism.
Witherspoon was the chairman of several important committees in the Continental Congress. He was the only clergyman to sign the Declaration of Independence and was mentor and instructor of James Madison at Princeton.

Good job, princeton fell around the 1930's when machen left.
like you videos, wish they would be more in-depth, but understand the nets limited attention span and the need to keep things short.

Wow. This video started off like a real history video, and then suddenly at 1:27 turned 100% religious nutcase.
I'm going to play this at cocktail parties in the background as a joke

I was only half-listening to this, so you can imagine my surprise when this guy starts unironically talking about "Satan's work".

Lol people in these comments weird. His title said he would explain the history of Princeton and that's what he did. These colleges had religious backgrounds and held true to Jesus' teachings because he was more prioritized in the past. Most schools held the values of Christ and the values of the American flag and sadly both are being stripped away.
