Not a fan of The Freakin' Realms, but watched because I love your presentation. For me, it was just background stuff in some of the 1E adventure modules. (Skipped 2E almost entirely.) By the time 3E rolled around there was too much info for my tastes, and Elmonster really turned me off. But that's just me.
For 5e, I need a forgotten realms source book and would love multiple adventure hooks or villains etc. What ONE or maybe TWO books would you recommend for that purpose? Thanks! Rather get pre written adventures or the newer source books? But I read that Sword Coast Adventures Guide is NOT a great "campaign guide" as the 4e one might be. I do not like the spell plague, I want a nice propserous City, Neverwinter, and put my players somewhere around Neverwinter Nights (PC Game) setting.
That I do! Wizards did reprint Dead In Thay for Tales from the Yawning Portal, but it isn't the same. I would also love to see Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle get the Print On Demand treatment as well
You can buy GenCon prints of Ghosts on eBay for under $50 USD. That's what I did. And I agree... Dead in Thay in Tales from the Yawning Portal is not the same as having a stand-alone copy to put on your shelf (and satisfy that nagging OCD demand for having everything in its proper place).
@@DravenSwiftbow that wasn't meant to be snotty. Those books have been so useful, across editions, that I recommend them to serious Realms DMs. And your collection is very nice
Those 3E and 3.5E books look so damn sweet! I freaking LOVE the art work! 3/3.5E was definitely D&D at it's peak.
I've never commented before, but I just wanted to say I love your channel Dave! Please keep the knowledge rolling to us newbies!
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask

thanks, can you list a top 10 of these PoD D&D 3.5 books now available ?
I like the idea, but there are currently only 17 books for 3.5 available. I might do a top 10 or even top 20 PoD items.
Great video Dave! Don't you wish DMsGuild would allow print versions of Dead in Thay to go with the Scourge of the Sword Coast? :D

I wasn't aware that there was a third book. I will have to keep an eye out for it

It didn't come across that way at all. I'm glad you mentioned it because now I can hopefully add it to my collection
