Hahaha, collecting things that are the same but a different colour. Tarot tube anyone??? I have so many non fountain pens. I have one fountain pen which I do not know the name of and 2 inks. I like the writing experience, however I want to use up the pens I have before I go down the shexy writing experience of F. pen and ink. One of the inks is from a UK producer (I'm in the UK) one is Earlgrey and I use it for drawing and another ink is an oxblood from Germany. It is smooth to write with. I think I have 3-5yrs of plastic case gel inks and permanent ink pens. So a pen no buy and I'm finding a small joy in finishing a pen and finding a way to recycle the casing. Don't want it up the nose of a turtle.
My goodness, what a delightful VR! I appreciate your pragmatic/utilitarian approach and I’m also not surprised by the tarot/FP overlap as I think there is a slowing-down, reflective quality to both pursuits!!! Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad you did this video!!! I completely enjoyed hearing your perspective & seeing your pens & inks!!! I'm still attempting to stop collecting the same pen(s) in different colors... doing better this year but the temptations are real!!!❤
Thanks so much for branching out of your usual content! I absolutely enjoyed (still am) your pragmatic approach and I currently feel the same way about inks. I'd rather go with reliable and legible than high maintenance.
You might need some time to acclimate to a #6 nib. I know when I got my first #6 I took to it immediately, but when I went to a #8, particularly with the girthier section it took some time to get used to it. Now I don't buy a pen if it doesn't have at least a #6 nib, unless for very special circumstances. So use it, and you might never go back. The same with gold nibs. It's not smoother, but there is something more comfortable for me. Generally the nib has a bit more give to it, so it acts like a suspension in a car. I agree with you on the inks. I like versatile inks. While the fancy stuff is cool to look at, some of them are really expensive, only for it to be used up. As for tarot stuff. I find it interesting, but scary. May be I'll go through some of your video to learn about it more, but not gonna lie, stuff like that freaks me out.
Yay!!! Loving you calling attention to the TarotTube/pen tube overlap because it definitely exists! 😆 I will admit to being wayyyy too far down the pretty ink swatch rabbit hole but at least it’s only in the form of too many samples rather than full bottles so it hasn’t been too expensive. 😅
I found someone who had calculated how many pages you could write with 1 ml of ink which made me realize I could fill almost a dozen notebooks with one bottle … 🙃😆

Hahaha we sure discuss “collecting” joys and pitfalls a lot on tarot tube. 💕

Thanks for watching. We’ll see how long my temptation resistance holds up. 💜
inks are both a passion and weakness for me. Really enjoyed this video.
thanks for watching 💜
Omg, this is really a thing! I seriously thought I was the only one addicted to pens. It’s so funny to me…. This was awesome thank you!❤❤❤
Lol you are not alone 😆💜
14 over 6 years is great! I think I bought 14 in my first 6 weeks 😂
That’s easy to do!!
