With God's people return back to Him in faith & obedience, do unto others as ye want to be done unto you, they will prosper, the earth will harvest produce, they will live in harmony & peace. Those who were obedient to the Covenant (remnant) Gid will prosper them & give them peace. Zechariah 8:12
Great lesson as always Pastor! To answer verse 12: For the seed shall be prosperous...God gave us his seed Jesus Christ whose words, deeds and presence prospered the Children of God and continues today thru the gift of the Holy Ghost. The gift that keeps on giving! HALLELUJAH and Amen!!
Pastor Jones. I thank God for you. I am not only enjoying your teaching of the word, but I am certainly growing and learning so much as you teach. I look forward to tuning in each week. May God continue to bless you and your family. Thank you for all the work you do for the Lord and God's people.
Wow praise the Lord what a blessing! you've just encouraged me to go further in Him. God has been so good to me and I just want to give back to Him though Teaching. Thank you so much
The seed shall be prosperous...the seeds (the Word of God that has life and that we, give to the sinner) that the Children of God sow, the LORD promises that it will successfully flourish to my children my grandchildren, my siblings outside of the ark of safety, my neighbors, those I pray for daily and those that are on our prayer list etc., will accept Him as their LORD and Savior...their God!
A beautiful lesson my brother, I really enjoyed it. Made me want to take out my tambourine and start playing with you all and dancing for the Lord, hallelujah.
Thanks for a Great Lesson Pastor Jones as always we appreciate you for all that you doing.I think when he says for the seed shall be prosperous i believe that when you're living right in him that he will bless you with the Godly things of God that's his Truth,Faith,Peace,Righteousness,Love,Grace and Mercy those things that Will keep us connected.I will like ti wish your Wife and all of those who are Mother and filling the shoes of a Mother a Happy and Blessed Mother's Day.💝🙏📖👂🙌👏💨☺🙏
What I seen in this lesson that it points to TODAYS PANDEMIC, and how GOD is working things for HIS GLORY, and that His people will get back to the OLD LANDMARK ✝️ I personally don’t understand you concerning Jeremiah 29. When GOD Word is the same never changes. I believe that He knows the plan today for my future and yours. Concerning Zechariah 8:12 My thought is we’re the seed of Abraham, Psalm 37:25-B nor the Seed begging bread. My thought again is if we are deeply rooted in the TRUE VINE(Jesus) we as Saints we will produce Fruit. God will not hold any good thing from us! The Fertile ground will produce because of our Obedience. JUST MY THOUGHT🙏🏾 Pray with me, is my desire🙏🏾
Blessings and thank you for replying, sorry I didn’t know you posted. Please understand my reason for Jeremiah as I said in the lesson , it was written specifically for the children of Israel concerning their coming out of Babylon. We when do not properly apply scripture to us, it serves no purpose. So that passage of scripture was already fulfilled when they came out of the 70 years.
Jeremiah 29 is a letter for us all to read. We act like the children of Israel when we refuse to obey God's Word and end up in "captivity " a place God never intended for us to be.
Greetings I understand and respect your point. Yet this passage of scripture has already been fulfilled. It was written to Israel that they would come out of the 70 years of Babylonian captivity
Good lesson as always. I believe verse 12 the seed shall be prosperous is speaking of Christ being the seed. Him coming and dying for our sins being buried. His death would be prosperous and produce much fruit and cause many to come to Christ. As in John 12-23-24 Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Jesus is the seed that went into the ground that produced more children of God. Also we know that Christ is the seed in Galatians 3:16 reveals him as the seed. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed,"who is Christ. He also said he is the vine we are the branches if we abide in him we should produce much fruit in John 15.
"For the seed shall be prosperous..." verse 12, interpretation that Israel was punished and admonished to repent so since God is a restorer He promises to keep His covenant - so living righteously God gives His children a "blessed hope and inner peace!" Paraphrasing "God blessings are always "Yes and Amen!"🙏
😙Zechariah 8:12 He said, " I will cause referring to Him manipulating the ground , the heaven, the enemies, etc. He does no less presently, at least for those who will believe and obey Him!
I wanted to hear you deal with “the remnant”. Remnants are considered leftovers, less popular, unwanted. God works with remnants!! 🙌🏽 There is really SO MUCH in this lesson!!!
The remnant was also a people who still yearned for God and still recognized God as their Help, their Waymaker, their God (not god) as the others had turned to.
“There are times when God has to be there but not there while he is there....Come on somebody!”👏🏽🙌🏽👍🏽! You better preach Pastor Jones👋🏽💃🏽🙋🏽♀️This lesson was awesome! The Principal theme of this lesson is that God will return to Jerusalem to be the God of his people once again! Amen🙏🏽. Let’s Go✌🏽answer to verse 12 is: growth & blessings! The people will do their farming in peace on fertile soil and with great weather conditions. Economic growth will return and with it, prosperity and normalcy. Praise God👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽. I hope I was able to answer verse 12! Please confirm?? God bless you & your family! #Givelify👋🏾👏🏽😉!

Pastor Jones you said that Jeremiah 29:11 is not for us today. I use this scripture all the time. Confused. . . I thought the word of God was for us as Christians. Please HELP!
Greetings thank you for the question. Reading Jeremiah 29:11 there is a conversation going on. They were or will be in captivity 70 years, when it's up they will be freed and forgiven. This is to Israel for her sin. Jeremiah 29:10-11 KJV For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. [11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Great question and thank you for asking. In the video I explained in details what was going on with that verse. Judah would be in Babylon for 70 years prior to chap 29:11, God told them His thoughts of their expected end, in other words when they came out of captivity there were some things God would do.
Every word of God is still relevant as far as we are here on earth. Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word remaineth the same. All the letters in the new testament were written for a group of people.
This is true however every word in the bible is not written to us but for us. For example Israel was told by God to march around Jericho, we are not told to do so. Scripture must not be taken put of content or else it serves us no good.
